    All products I checked are slightly cheaper elsewhere, but don't have a 'free' reversing camera included.

    But the details on the camera, the selling point for those without free speakers, seem hard to find.

      I bought from a similar deal back in March and the camera that was to be included was the Parkmate CMD12N. I say was because i was initially given some generic cheapie camera with a sh!t plastic mount that broke when I bumped it with my wash mitt while washing the car. I complained to BSM and they eventually sent me the Parkmate CMD12N specified in the promo

      Correct, the camera, that's included - for free, is the Parkmate CMD12N. It's a standard reverse camera without guidelines, for free along with free shipping. Those prices, with free shipping and a free camera, are not found elsewhere in the market. I'm always confused by the use of 'free' when talking about the inclusions we add… We're not Michael Hill here, the price of the unit is in line with the market… but we're giving the camera, and speakers away free of charge whilst wearing the shipping costs as well?

        I guess OzBargainers are looking for you beat the competition who are slightly cheaper on the on some of the base units, and are also offering free shipping. Not all needing an included camera and speakers.

          I was about to just buy one but the rep seems to have abit of attitude so decided to look on ebay instead, within about 20 seconds found the Sony XAV-AX1000 I wanted for $356.27 delivered on ebay so went that instead. Cheers

            @immortalbjr: Personally I would have paid the extra $40 odd and got the camera but each to their own if you don't want/need it.
            I'd also have to say this rep is one of the better ones going around. Always helpful when they get inundated with "will this fit XXX vehicle" upon posting deals.

              @whitelie: Its just to throw in my work truck that already has a far better camera on it anyway. Like someone else said not everyone needs a cheap camera or speakers and may just want the core unit.

        At the moment, due to stock shortages country wide, the cheapest wireless units are the more expensive Kenwood units, $1,000+

      The Sony XAV-AC1000 is decent and pretty easy to install with the right extra plugs.
