    Without a panel based ceiling, am I able to some how anchor it by something on the back and hang the light?

      I just drill holes through the frame and mount it on the ceiling that way.
      Just need to open one up first to see where the LED light strips are to make sure you don't accidently damage them.

      it would depend on the colour temp you are after, it will be good to light up the tank but 4000k isn't enough for aquatic plants.
