      I'd love to know who actually sets these prices. If there's like only 1 or 2 distributors into Australia, how are they not getting done for monopolistic practices or collusion?

      If MSRP is what.. say $1100.. wouldn't that be based on the total price from the manufacturers (either Nvidia / AMD) selling their product to the OEMs (ie. ASUS / Gigabyte etc) and then it making its way into stores / PCs.

      So someone in the supply chain (suppliers or distributors) is making an absolute killing as wouldn't AMD / Nvidia still be charging the OEMs whatever the standard volume rate for their chips to meet the MSRP?
