Sanyo never got the glory for all its work in these batteries it engineered

    • +1

Money was probably the motivating factor.

    A rechargeable battery … subscription

  • +2

Who the hell subscribes to receive batteries delivered regularly?

Oh wait… Forgot what website I was on for a second. Nevermind.

Ozbargain way…. Select longest subscription option. Goods delivered. Cancel subscription. Rinse, repeat!

  • What is the difference between these ones and the white coloured Eneloop batteries? Which ones are better.?

    • +1

      This Pro one is better

      • I had the pro and regular and I got slightly annoyed that I had to change the battery more often with the regular, hence I think pro is better for convenience factor.

    • +2

The Pro batteries have a higher capacity but are rated for far fewer cycles (i.e. they don't last as long). Get the pros if you need more juice, otherwise stick to the regular ones.

Pro stands for Professional and Professionals are better.

  • Still waiting for TEDS to open so I can collect my 8 pk AA for $22

    • they are open in QLD, yet still on back order.

    • Same.. but looks like it's gonna be a while away and maybe not even worth waiting.

Feel like they'll just cancel eventually because they said they'll order the stock after they open up again :/

  • Any recommendations for 8 AA pack charger to go with the 8 pack?

  • I like Eneloop but too many devices want 1.5v to be able to run. Either that or it might work but requires recharging sooner for high drain devices.

    So yeah…

  • Just got offered a Free Prime membership trial with the 8-pack AA batteries which I gladly took. Thanks OP.

    • +1

yeah but the free prime offer is only good once and you will have to sign up if you want it for a deal in the future.

I had my first free trial years ago and this was the second that I didn't expect to get so I was pleasantly surprised. They also sent me an invite to get the Echo Dot (3rd gen) for $10 which I also just purchased.

        Very happy :D

          very nice

  • $41.90 for me. Deal has ended? 8xAA is still $37

    • Agree - Just got the 8 pack

    • i'm guessing it ended. that was way too fast

  • Where are the LADDA comments??

    • I've been looking to get rechargeable batteries and Eneloops were at the top for consideration. In my research I came across Project Farm's YouTube videos, and his testing showed Duracell and LADDA were best for almost every power and efficiency metric. Regular Eneloops were comfortably middle range in his sample group. Have your experiences been different?

      • I’ve never used the LADDA’s, as I’ve never had an issue with Panasonics batteries.

I have heard decent things about LADDA, but haven’t experienced it myself

  • +1

I found out that the Ladda in Ikea is the renamed eneelop. Been using eneelop and ladda couple years. They are the same. The charger in ikea really cheap and good and it is a fast charger.

  • What are the common usage for these battery?
