Logitech G305 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse $59.97 + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ EB Games

Good price for a fantastic wireless mouse. Takes 1x AA batteries, so isn't required to be frequently charged.

International G304 can often be had a little bit cheaper from the likes of AliExpress, but might be a good deal for some wanting to pickup locally.

    Takes 2x AA batteries

    Incorrect. It Takes 1x AA

    • Came here to point that out too!

      • My bad folks. I should've taken the second to lift my hand and double check in my own mouse haha

And if you're clever and like lightweight, it takes 1x aaa in a hollow plastic adaptor.

          For even lighter; disposable lithium.

          • @MasterScythe: I use one AAA Ladda and fill the gap with a ball of aluminium foil to lower the weight. Just need to make sure that the foil keeps the battery snug as well, so that it doesn't un-seat the battery when you flick the mouse left-right.

A tiny bit cheaper on Amazon at $59.48; at least for the black version.

The Razer Basilisk X is $56 via Amazon Au.

Not saying one is better than the other, just an option at a similar price point.

    • I had both, they are slightly different towards hand grip and aesthetic but both great mice. I bought the razer for $42.

This was $30 plus on JB hifi deals 2-3 months ago.

    • Yes they went for $39.60 which is the cheapest I've seen them.

If you buy this mouse, purchase a AA -> AAA converter. Very popular mod that makes the balance of this mouse so much better.

No dip in functionality and battery life is still excellent.

    • Yep, and use a 1.6v disposable lithium for madness battery life also!
      And even LESS weight.

This is probably the best value for performance mouse out there. Love it.

best mouse ever! Battery last forever.

  • Not a bad mouse however it's a pity it's not as comfortable as my old Logitech M720 Triathlon mouse. Combine the comfort of that with the ability to adjust the DPI and I would love it.

  • Would have bought it if it had multi-device capability (without the need to fiddle with the USB dongle)

    • Thats where the Basilisk X is more your style.
Assuming you only need 2 devices; your gaming rig gets the dongle, and your 'other' device gets the bluetooth.
There's a physical switch on the bottom of the mouse :)
