how can they still sell it at its regular price when the promo was supposed to run for the full hour?

    • I think they have sold out so revert back to the original price.

      • If they have sold out it should not be available at the regular price either?? That's misleading conduct surely…

        • It quite clearly says In Stock at Mwave: NO. How is that "surely" misleading conduct?

      • Its actually $12 more expensive now then it was this morning!

    • In shopping cart: This product will need to be back ordered from our supplier.

  • got one

  • Still showing one in cart, but still cant checkout! so close yet so far away, and so frustrating!

    Wow, I got lucky.
Was 2:15 and thought 'oh crap, forgot about this router deal! No chance now…', opened up the link, was a bit slow, got my password wrong a few times since I don't log onto Mwave often, fidgeted around trying to figure out what the extra $2.75 charge was for, clicked around looking at the various payment options, mucked around with the update address details for a bit and STILL successfully got an order in!

  • I got the sucker!!!!!!!!!!

51 mins in and i'm just about to register as a customer

Order confirmed at 3.04pm 1hr and 10mins after starting up.
    Got you, you little sucker.
Now - where do I get the refund?

    • Can't claim it until you get the item itself because you need the EAN barcode and serial number.

  • got through no probs and ordered!

  • For for the cashback:

    Promotional Period:
    01st March 2012 - 30th April 2012

    Mwave will deliver May 1st.

    • they better not or my order will be cancelled.

  • Its been so long since I started I can't even remember what it was for now

  • Thanks for the great deal!

I did manage to add it to cart at about 1:04 (Qld) then took until 1:39 to have it paid. It seems like if you can get it into your cart it's yours. Order status says waiting so hopefully they won't cancel it :P

  • Got my order confirmation as well! :) Thanks OP

  • Snagged one also.

Dont give up. I think as long as u got it in the shopping cart prior to price reverting to $68.10, you should be fine.

Paid $0.45 for a router. LOL

  • Order confirmed at 3:09 PM.
Not really ahppy with the experience…

  • started at 1:55 and managed to get one at 3:10 for $30

I had it in the shopping cart. Paid $30.45, but no confirmation as of yet & no products in my recent orders activity.

    Hmm.. ?
EDIT: Just called MWave. Simple. If your purchase is not in your account History, You did not successfully get one. An the PayPal transaction will be cancelled as it's pending and not cleared as of yet.

    Waste of an hour.

  • Finally. omg. That was a long checkout process. Got one.

"Please note we choose to surcharge Paypal at 1.5%" keyword being choose.. dont think PayPal will like that.

  • Is it OK claim the $30 cost as a tax deduction or Education Tax Rebate after getting the $30 cashback?

    • Don't see why you can't claim it under the EDR. I did it when I got my printer two years ago, bought an Epson printer for $210, got a cash back of $80 and EDR claim of $105, got the printer for $25 in the end.

    • you shouldnt but yoi can. but no one is going to do a audit on your bank account for $30 as it is a waste of time. if ato does a auditbjust show them the $30 recipt and you should be good.

  • I'm interested who does or doesn't have their completed order listed as "Waiting" in the 'My Orders' section?
Click on it and you get "Your order is waiting to be approved".

    • Mine is set to "Processing" - "Your order is being processed, items are being allocated or ordered in."

    • Mines listed as "waiting" too, order was completed around 2.20pm.

    • ooh…. yes, same here. Oh well…. fingers crossed!

      • Got an email with "Your payment has been received. Please check your order status online for an update on your order. Thank you." and the status page now has "Your order is being processed, items are being allocated or ordered in."

    • mine still 'waiting', too.. maybe payment type matter? i paid via paypal..

    • Hmmm..

I chose BPay to save on time and $ 0.45 surcharge…
And my order status is "waiting". Obviously. Waiting for my money.
And I already transferred the money.

      Wait and watch…

    • For the record mine was paid by CC

    • Mine has switched to 'Processing' now so I'm quite hopeful.

  • Connected at 2:05pm, managed to get one into the cart around 2:40pm (which appeared to be the critical thing), and got through the checkout process at 3:04pm. So an hour to get the order through has to be a new record for me.

Anyhow, have confirmation of the payment from PayPal and the invoice from Mwave. Won't be exactly free as there was a $0.45 surchage for using PayPal, but (as long as we get the routers in time to submit the claims - May 15th) then $0.45 for a spare router, or a four port switch, is not that bad. Actually, claim it on tax/education refund and it's $30+$0.45-$15-$30=$14.55 profit…. ;-)

An hours entertainment provided, and still not deserving a +? :p

  • You have $0.00 Mwave Dollar(credit) and $0.15 Pending Mwave Dollar in your account.

Come now and approve my credit card already, I'm actually excited now to get payment confirmed and then Cisco on its way. Status: Waiting

    Just 59cents via MasterCard transaction
(however still to display in netbank after ~ 2.45pm purchase),

many thanks OP for sharing this promo.

  • On site at 2.00pm. Paypal paid and MWave confirmation emails by 3.24pm
Well that took it's sweet time… but at least I win :)

  • paypallers paid $0.45. Those of us that used c/card paid $0.59. Boo, hiss!
Oh well, at least I get 31 qantas FF points for using my Amex

    • +1

couldn't you associate your amex with paypal. That way get pay $0.45 for the purchase and still get 1.5 points per dollar or whatever it is?

      • Paypal Australia doesnt accept AMEX.

    • +1

That surely burnt a hole in your wallet.
