    Thanks. Bought 2

Got 2 from last deal, pretty much just a low battery indicator short of perfect

    • Would you mind checking how long they stay on for? I'm guessing 30s and no way to change. Cheers

      • +28

It's short, 30 seconds or so. 60 seconds would have been better so you don't have to dance and pee at the same time at 2am

        • +2

Haha thanks! I wish they would just add a quick 3-position switch for 30s/60s/120s…

    • Which colour did you buy? I prefer warmer tone but usually they aren't as bright as the 6000K daylight.

      • +1

I got the whiter ones, I think 3000k. I don't like yellow light.

        • +5

          3000K is the "yellow" light.

          • +1

@MonkeyCoder: Sorry, I got the 4000k, they are my go to temperature because its not too yellow in the day and not to white at night.

OP, great job for clearly stating charge port type and +1 for USB-C 👍

Anyone got suggestions on something similar that actually just plugs into a power point? A setting that also switches between motion sensor or on (with a illumination sensor?) would be great.

I check all these deals that come through and had a look on Ali, but there is always so much and no idea if they are any good.

      Philips Hue with motion sensor.

edit: can't switch to on mode unfortunately.

      • Thanks everyone. Will look into all of these.

Can highly recommend the Arlec model that you mentioned, I have 3 of them in my apartment, 2 in the kitchen and 1 in the hallway corridor. The warm colour temperature is very easy on the eyes at night, and bright enough that you can easily see what you're doing. Sensor is quite sensitive, which I like, so no need to flap your arms around like crazy to trigger it.

Motion sensor automatically turns on in low light/dusk, it only turns on the light when it detects motion (so it's off when nobody is around). There is no option to have the light on always, but that's not a problem for me. I've bought 4 different types of night lights and this one is my favourite by far.

Like almost all night lights, this sips power very sparingly — around 0.19W continuous draw when in standby mode (i.e. light is off), and 0.63W when the light is actually on (I have a Power-Mate Lite energy meter that I use to measure this stuff). Power consumption is so low that I don't worry about these wasting energy.

If anyone is looking for a night light that automatically turns on at dusk and stays on (no motion sensor), then I recommend this model:
        https://www.bunnings.com.au/arlec-diffused-plug-in-led-night…

I use this in my kitchen so there's 1 light that's always on at all times at night. It's not too bright and not too dim, it's perfect.

I've been using an old usb charger with a xiaomi USB light stick thingy, and leaving it on all night. Probably uses about 20c of electricity all year.

  • Price is back to $21.99 now for me… will wait for the next sale :(

  • "This coupon can only be used 50 times."

    Next time then.

  • shame, no deal as the coupon has expired :(

Can anyone please send more sensor light deals if you see any? thank you!

  • Has anyone got this and the similar xiaomi one? How does it compare.

  • +1

It on special for $13.99 right now

    • Need to add US$1.61 shipping.
