  • Great mouse but I’ve recently switched back to the g pro wireless as this is on the light side for me, but that’s just personal preference. Other then that it’s a good mouse.

i personally bought it for the light weight (had G pro wireless before) but like it more for the non-sweat plastic finish they have.

Tempting.. but gonna hold till the white one goes on sale

  • Weird I had a camelx3 set to trigger below $195 and it hasn't…

    • +4

Your camel needs to be floggedx3.

If it helps Amazon UK is probably classed as a third party seller, maybe you only have the alert set to Amazon AU?

      • +1

        Yes!
        This looks like the issue.

I get it's supposed to be 'superlight', but Christ alive does that scroll wheel look cheap.

Micro USB on a 180 dollar mouse is a joke, and I know nobody cares, but boy I wish mouse manufactures would stop making ambidextrous designs without right-sided thumb buttons - it's a problem that seems to be getting steadily more prevalent :(

    • Wheel feels nice at least. The button thing is annoying but makes sense in the pursuit of the absolute lowest weight.

Yeah I get that, but like I said, it's become more prevalent and I'm just not in love with one of the few major manufacturers that isn't doing it "dipping their toe", so to speak

    • +2

I agree with the thumb button and scroll issue. A lot of people (including popular YouTube reviewers) complain about the Micro USB connector but I don't see that one as an issue at all.

The cable that comes with the mouse isn't a normal Micro USB so it's not like people should use a normal cable anyway. This makes the mouse backward compatible with previous Logitech cables.

I do think that it should have come with a charging dock at this price though. I bought one on AliExpress for $35.

    • g pro/superlight has some of the best scroll wheels on gaming mice imo

People never talk about the Logitech G Pro X Superlight GHub software which is absolutely crap.

It's buggy, unintuitive, you can't add multiple applications to a single profile and I had one update that wiped all my profiles.

Personally it was the main reason I went back to the G Pro Wireless because that used Logitech Gaming Software.

    • +2

Logitech GHub is the worst thing logitech has done to itself in years

    • +1

You can save your profile onboard the mouse, so once you're done setting up you never have to launch it again.

genuine question: what makes this mouse worth almost $200? is it the lightspeed wireless? or the fact that it's so light weight?

    • +2

Must be because there's still demand at inflated prices. The cost of Logitech's gaming peripherals have gone out of control over the past few years and it doesn't look like it's going back down.

    • +2

A combination of everything but I suppose specifically because it is wireless, lightweight and not honeycomb.

Having said that all the decent mouse manufacturers make high quality mouses and the most important "feature" to look for now is the shape and does it feel right in your hands which is a pretty subjective thing.

    • +1

      good sensor/wireless/light weight/RND behind the shape/marketing costs

  • Can this mouse be wireless charged or do u have to charge via micro usb only?

  • I personally prefer the G903 over this. Hand down the best gaming mouse I've had over the years.
Also if you're using a wireless mouse/keyboard. Get a magnetic usb cable, you will not regret it.

  • +1

Sold my GPX and kept the Viper ultimate instead the shape feels better in hand. If it goes under $150 on Black Friday I might buy it back.

  • Deal doesn't seem to be available anymore.
