You can use this for screw driving and drilling into metal and wood.
Rotary Hammer Drill is more for masonry and demo work.

That's been a good thing in my book. I've got Ryobi, AEG, Ozito, and Workzone (the latter two being relatively cheap just buying the batteries alone anyway), all from ripper kit deals so I have not wasted any money in practice, and have picked up those old tools that a store sometimes marks down just to get rid of like an Ozito fan and Ryobi impact driver.

Surely not. You’d be refunded the amount you paid on the receipt.
Otherwise people can make profit by buying on special and selling back to the seller for profit. Bunnings make profit from us not the other way.

So is this the "good" one out of the various Ozito hammer drills? There have been previous comments saying some of the Ozito ones were poorly made, like the chucks weren't straight for instance.
I had an issue with my chuck from one in a previous deal and swapped it over for a new one at Bunnings. Been flawless since.

I thought with powerpass it counts as commercial use and the 5yr warranty with Ozito cordless products is no longer valid? From memory I've read powerpass doesn't give much (or any) discount on Ozito products either, so might be better off paying full price without scanning the cards. Happy to be corrected though.

Thanks for outlining this. I was wondering if was worth buying for just the batteries for use with other Ozito tools in this ecosystem (of which I don't have any)
I bought this partly for the smaller batteries as I only have a couple of the 4Ah ones. The smaller batteries will be handy for the smaller tools, Detail Sander, etc. The brushless drill will be a nice addition to the collection. Gotta collect them all!

no. it's not great as a hammer drill anyway.
Hammer for only for masonry, so if you don't have it and already have a driver then no need.

I ordered mine at 6 am and guessing it's been sold to an in store person too. They will probably send me a text on the weekend to say pick up your drill bits , screwdriver bits and reciprocal saw , but we don't have the drill , charger or batteries that you need for it all.

These two options are for basic use. If you plan on doing a huge amount of drilling (ie building a patio or something like that), then pay more.
I have both the above, that I've used for hanging tv on the wall, picture frames, building a mud kitchen for the kids etc. Simple stuff.
