if that was the reason we should see other z590s reduced
I'm not sure it's relavent to forthcoming processor, but some Gigabyte LGA 1200 motherboards do discounted heavily. e.g.
Gigabyte B560M AORUS PRO $189 -> $119, and Gigabyte Z590 AORUS PRO AX $299 -> $199
Probably will eventually. Gigabyte is just the first cab off the ranks.

A lot of the gigabyte Z590 motherboards tested are pure garbage..in regards to the VRMs
there's some design fault in the power planes..
their mid range range boards perform worse than their cheapest boards.. pretty bad..
It would be really hard to justify any of them at present, without any proven reviews..
have you got any url to back this up ? reason im asking is i just splashed out on 2 x aorus elite versions maxed with ram and i9-10900. i was border line on the gigabyte and asus but went for the gigabyte boards because mr google had better reviews

If you read reviews, the itx version is the best among the line up for gigabyte.

Wonder if they would actually ship. Amazon have cancelled many of my back orders. Unless they are substantially cheaper i wouldn’t rely on them for back orders.

Itx are priced significantly differently compared to atx boards so the products are not really comparable nor are they substitutes at all@XanderYuan: Agree. Plus ultra is slightly better then the elite since it has a few extras like wifi.

Because they're about to be superseded with a new socket type with Alder Lake
