[ACT] $20 off $60+ Spend + Free Delivery @ Three Mills Bakery, Canberra

TWENTYONUS

Three Mills delivers bake-at-home goodies like croissants, tarts, danishes, family pies, and sausage rolls, and ready-cooked items like sour dough and muesli. They have been a bit of a staple for me during lockdown. The croissants just melt in your mouth and the beef bourginon pies are delicious. I think my favourite dinner is a quarter of a pie with a salad of baby roma tomatoes, snow peas, baby qukes, butter lettuce and a drizzle of Kewpie mayo. Yum. And freshly baked croissants for breakfast on a Sunday really can't be beaten. Especially if you're still asleep and that warm buttery goodness smell creeps into your nose. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Delivery is free over $60 and the voucher can't be used for their bundles like the brunch box.

    Thats a lot of dough…..

  • This is a pretty neat idea, anything like this in Melbourne?

As someone who loves sausage rolls and likes to try them everywhere I go, the sausage rolls at Three Mills aren't bad at all.
A little oily (like, it literally runs down your hand when eating it), but quite nice tasting.

The only this is they are EXPENSIVE! About $9 for a single sausage roll. And while they are of reasonable size, they aren't much bigger than say a Dobinson's sausage roll… which sell for around $3.

Just bare that in mind when ordering. Even 30% off on a minimum $60 order isn't much when the prices are already very high.

    • The bake at home ones are $5.50 each (pack of 4 for $22). With the voucher code they are $3.67 each (if you buy 3 packs of 4).

Just comparing like with like mate. I live in ACT and have been to both shopfronts to buy a s.roll for lunch. I get that bake at home would (and should) be cheaper… but when you can buy ready to go over the counter for $3ish, should bake at home bulk packs really be $5.50 per s.roll?

Not saying their goods don't taste nice, but they are very overpriced.

        • They're $3.90 at dobinsons (so cheaper at three mills with this deal) and three mills ones are a lot better. I prefer bake at home ones because then they're fresh, instead of sitting in a warmer for hours.

        • Agreed it's a silly price. I avoid them. It's 60% product and 40% marketing.

I second that. Their products might be good - but $9.95 for a loaf of Three Mills bread at the local IGA is a bit on the high side..

Worth every cent. Fantastic sourdough bread.

Someone gave me a box from 3 Mills Bakery as a gift and it blew me away…forget Paris.

  • I highly recommend some of their bake at home range - the desserts are great, and the family meat pie is amazing. I find the sausage rolls really good, but rather oily when cooking at home. Overall, really good products and I/we have thoroughly enjoyed.

I'm not sure whether this code is meant for broad use (it is a generic code, for sure), as previously I've received an email and perhaps they have historically targeted me in some way (I did seem to get one after not ordering for a few months). Perhaps they just send out a generic code to a sub-set of their customer base, not sure. This particular time - I haven't received a promotional email, but do appreciate the OP posting.

Just had a look at their prices.. all I can do is laugh. How are these people still in business? I guess they cater to old retirees that have nothing else to spend their pension on
