Aquapro 0.5mm X 4m PVC Pond Liner $10 Per Metre (Usually $43.39 Per Metre) @ Bunnings

190

Bunnings is clearing out this from all stores. I try few different stores and found in Rydalmere NSW store. They still have 25m in stock so other store may have it as well. Will be better to call store to check stock before heading to store.

      asbestos?

      • Was wondering so looked it up - only needs to be 0.2mm (or 200 micro):

"All asbestos sheets must be wrapped in 2 layers of black plastic with a minimum thickness of 0.2mm"

silly question, can it be used to cover the leaking roof? many thanks.

    • How will you tie it down? That's the main problem I can see with that.

Having a pond that i am about to empty for the millionth time (yes ive lost count) and fix a leak. I can say that if you are looking at it for a pond then look at something thicker like an EPDM liner instead. Ive always chosen PVC because it is cheaper and as always could have spent the money over the years on a far stronger material. This is why they are most likely on clearance as stores soon wont be able to be able to sell the PVC liners (constantly ending up in landfill - like plastic bags)

    • think the geomembrane liner should be ~2mm thick…
also it should be laid on compact clay, decent thickness to avoid move
      thin plastic will not last.

  • This might make a pretty effective weed mat

kills everything under the soil apparently…

A weed mat should let water.

    • Pretty expensive for a weed mat

  • Seems not available for c&c.
Some stores show in stock in Brisbane when selecting Show stores with in stock items only.
But selecting many of those stores showed most have no stock… Frustrating.

  • Any good for slip and slides for children?…of all ages.

  • Not available at The Ponds.
