  KeepSolid mentions that you can access American Netflix using this, although I am not sure how we can achieve that as it seems to still show me Australia Netflix. Tried with Hotstar India and it seems to work without issues (without the need to turn on any VPN)

    Yeah this is crap. Changing DNS servers doesn't magically allow you to view geoblocked content.

      As I said it is allowing me to access Hotstar India (without using any VPN) which is a geoblocked content. But not sure how it would allow American Netflix as there doesn't seem to be a different URL for American Netflix compared to Australian Netflix

  Registered, changed DNS server, now I can't access Netflix at all. Amazon also still showing Australian content. Where did I go so so wrong?

    I was able to access Netflix although it was showing Australian Netflix. I believe both American and Australian netflix have same url and hence it doesn't know you are trying to access American Netflix. Same must be with Prime. But for other geoblocked sites where it has only local url (e.g. Hotstar India) it doesn't cause any issues and allows access without VPN

  I’ve been using KeepSolid for years and can access US Netflix content without an issue. Although these days there’s isn’t that much difference between US and AU.

    Late but this is a DNS, the previous deal is a VPN
