Not sure when I’ll use these but will buy now and worry about it later! Thanks op!

    • Working from home + kids.

As a girl, these are convenient when you're visiting other homes with no locks on their toilet doors. And for your own room when you need privacy. shrugs

I remembered this YouTube video when I saw this deal. https://youtu.be/zQgdjzjz_Ow

Thank you sooooooo much for providing this link.
It helped me keep abreast of the other locks on the market

and I know exactly what I'll be doing for the next hour.

EDIT……err make that two and why did they have to go and invent double-sided tape.

She's like straight out of an anime.
Out of proportion. Not complaining 👍🏻

        I was expecting the Lockpickinglawyer!

    • I was wondering why there were strangely worded comments. Now I understand they were puns

Very informative, sure find out how hard a lock can get.

    • +2

So based off the video, these latch based locks are trash?

    • +3

Wow, had to put my phone into landscape view to fit all of that… video on the screen.

So I've placed an order for 1 and they will send me 2, is that right?

  • +1

These are flimsy, they don't work good on alot of doors
and definitely wouldn't keep a burglar out like that misleading pic

And have they changed or improved anything since they 1st sold? wouldn't justify that price increase

    • +3

The burglar in the pic looks nothing like the burgers I know

looks nothing like the burgers I know

The burgers are better at Hungry Jacks

The Burglars are better at McDonalds rubble rubble

          • @Freezies: The Hamburglar hasn't been seen for years though

            • @Melencir: A life of crime has you working for McDonald's wasn't a great look for them?

It's great for parents looking for some 'privacy'. I bought one years back and can comment from experience this leads to more betterer private moments (read, more unnhibited) :)

    Should read 'While locks last'

These are great only if you can travel. Otherwise just collecting dust. Not a good use for home you could lock yourself out, pay an expensive fare for the locksmith

    • +3

These are actually more than a travel lock.. you can use them on most doors that either don’t have a lock or the lock is broken. Great for share houses or rentals. They only work to lock you IN a room so you will only lock others OUT not yourself. Great for keeping the ankle biters out on a Sunday morning.

How is this great for travel when "They only work to lock you IN a room so you will only lock others OUT not yourself"? Only works for people who could teleport.

  • +1

Bought one a while back. Design is terrible as you lose the knob that keeps the door locked.

  • Very smart! Should be very useful when finding some toilets which doors have no lock!

  • So when have a heart attack, the rescuers are locked out too.
