One month ago I made a similar post about my first game "Doptrix" and I promised I would do this again.
So now I'm giving away 50 promo codes for my new game "Doptrix Evolution".

Doptrix Evolution is the sequel to Doptrix, this is a puzzle/casual game with some very unique features. The first game received lots of positive reviews and pretty impressive 4.7 stars rating on the Market. And I think that new Doptrix Evolution is even more interesting!

Promo code upgrades the game to full version - unlocks all game modes and removes ads.

To receive your code:

  1. Download the game from Google Play:

  2. Start it, navigate to Help menu. Press "Menu" key on your phone/tablet, a small window will pop up with a 6-digit code.

    What does it need this permission for?
    read phone state and identity
    Allows the application to access the phone features of the device. An application with this permission can determine the phone number and serial number of this phone, whether a call is active, the number that call is connected to and the like.

      Sounds like the game saves state or something if a call is active.

      This permissions is required for Swarm online leaderboards. If you are not going to submit your scores online, it will not be used. Here's a quote from swarmconnect.com:

      We understand that developers and users are sensitive to the number of permissions required for an app, so we have done our best to minimize the permissions required for Swarm. The list below describes each permission.

      • INTERNET - Allows users to create an account, login, save Achievements, post scores to Leaderboards, and make purchases from the Virtual Store.
      • READ_PHONE_STATE - Allows Swarm to prevent fraud and create a secure environment (no personally identifiable information is used).
      • ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE - Allows Swarm to detect when a user is online or when the user's connection has been lost.

    This would be fun on a PC but it's one of two kinds of games which simply DO NOT WORK on touchscreens (The other being anything which requires a 'virtual gamepad' on the screen). Even for free, I'll give it a miss.

      I've played these kind of games, and also virtual keypad games, which do in fact work.

        "Work" is pretty subjective in this instance. Driving a car with handlebars can "work" too but why make life more difficult.
