Went looking for an Asus Transformer Prime without keyboard ($598 at JB HiFi, talked down to $560), but came home with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 because I couldn't justify the $200 difference.

WOW Fyshwick has a few other varieties of tablet as well, I think I saw Acer and Sony as well as varieties of the Samsung 10.1.

They also have CDs, DVDs and BluRays at 40% off - got Love Never Dies (sequel to Phantom of the Opera) for $17.97. Of course, the bargains may continue to improve - they had a lot of stuff still discounted just 15%.

    just called up WOW at Oxley - they don't have any left… they only have the 10.1 64GB Wi-Fi version for $551 if anyone is interested….

    Do they stock the 7.7inch ones? It's about the time for my galaxy tab p1000 to retire.

    a lot of their stuff didn't seem that great price when I looked there this lunch time, although the galaxy tab price was one thing that looked reasonable :)

    one guy was trying to haggle on a home theatre receiver (the electronic item) but the sales guy said the prices were set by the receiver (not the electrical item. in this instance, the corporate entity who've taken over the task of closing WOW down) so he couldn't move on it. sounded a bit iffy to me.

    But as Postulative mentioned in the deal, prices might get better the closer they get to shutting down completely.
