Might want to edit the title

    $150 Fee - Ongoing $100 Discount

Makes it sound like it is a $150 fee minus a $100 discount, rather than $150 including a $100 discount (normally $250).

  • Hey OP, can you please confirm whether non Qantas card counts? "offer unavailable to those who have held a NAB-issued credit card within the last 12 months".

  • Whats the eligibility criteria? (Income)

    • Typically $35,000/p.a for a $6k minimum limit card such as this.
See here for their current policy on credit assessments.

This deal is obviously much better, if you are eligible.

        • Yep! Only downside of the Citi card is the higher min limit, but its a great card.

If anyone is interested in the maths (using a business class round the world trip, since thats probably the best value you are going to get with Qantas Points). If you bought a round the world ticket in cash, retail fares usually start from $3,000 in Economy, $11,000 in Business and upwards of $20,000 in First.

          Nab Card:
22% of a business round the world trip.

$2,329 of profit after meeting spend requirements
+ $2,479 22% of RTW business flight value
          - $150 annual fee
For every $1 spent on annual fee, you will earn $16.47 in flight credit.

          Citi Card:
32% of a business round the world trip.

$3,422 of profit after meeting spend requirements
+ $3,597 32% of RTW business flight value
          - $175 annual fee
For every $1 spent on annual fee, you will earn $20.44 in flight credit.

St george and Bank of melbourne is 10k less points but only $99 (although requires $3k spend.)

  • Doesn’t seem to have a minimum income.

The 70,000 Qantas points are NOT a Sign Up Bonus…. you have to meet the spend criteria to receive the points… they are not "A Gift" ….

  • Based on previous experience, be prepared to jump through hoops and be stuffed around over months for approval for a measly credit limit. Best of luck. You'll need lots of patience.

  • What is the going rate in the market for QFF points?

I think last time I sold I got 1.2 cents per point - but that was 4 years ago….

  • How do you deposit on NAB credit cards? Is it biller code+card number?
