Why neg? I got one and they're alright.

      • +3

Because of the seller. Not because of what they are selling. Im neutral btw

        • +1

wait, what is going on with the seller?

    • -3

12 neg votes on the comment with no explanations, that's fun to see

    Any deal on K10 OP?

    • +1

I picked one of these up at Kogan about 2 months back, but paid $170 delivered. It's not my daily driver, but I enjoy using it. It's really well made.

My next one will be TKL tho, not sure why I've been wedded to a full 104 keys all this time.

Added a cheap wooden wrist rest from AliExpress… now I'm thinking about some clicky switches closer to the blues on my DasK. The hot-swappability makes me feel like the kb is a great basis for whatever you want to try out.

    • +1

I own k10 as well. The full option version can be bought at BPC (budget pc) for $149. Really love the keyboard

  • Shame no sales on Red Switch

    • +1

If you don't mind RGB aesthetic, the hot-swappable EVGA Z15 with Kailh Speed Silvers (linear, like Reds) is $99 delivered

  • +2

dont forget to use this! doesnt stack with the ebay plus $10 voucher theyre doing atm sadly.

    • Did not work for 99$ item lol

      • yea only $100+ unfortunately

        • I have a K4V2 and I love it, thought to try K6 super small. Trying to add a 1$ items.

There was a 10$off for spending 90 on eBay. Doesn't that work?

  • +1

    No same offer on Amazon?

  • +1

These are pretty solid keyboards, I'm running the K6 which I'm in the process of swapping over the stock gateron browns over to some T1's.

Got to hold myself back on picking up a K8!

  • K6 is my favourite keyboard I’ve ever owned!

    • How is the battery life

      • +1

Battery life is very good, can’t put an estimate on it sorry but always exceeds my expectations

Not as long as the Logitechs that just take a AA, but you simply plug it in via USB for a rather speedy charge

    • Does it come with a dongle or will your PC need to support bluetooth via the motherboard?

      • +1

No dongle - BlueTooth or USB cable

    • I heard the keys are quite thick (high). Did your wrist feel tiring when using it?

      • Not at all, if it bothers you put a notebook to rest your wrists :)

  • +2

    No K4 available OP?? Cheers

  • Negs have now transitioned over to ebay it would appear

  • Right preparing for the slaughter but:
Can someone please recommend me a custom mech keyboard with a numpad that won't cost me the earth.

    • you're better off just adding a numpad. most customs don't have a numpad.

    • +2

      Check out the Akko 3098n

Or the GMMK barebones full size. Grab some cheap keycaps and gateron switches off aliexpress and you're golden.

  • +1

    No low profiles?

    • ^ also on the lookout

    • K3v2 is $119

  • Any deals on a 96% with the number pad?

  • +6

Harris Technology again! Be careful of cancelled orders because of buyer's address is invalid.

  • Great keyboards. Got the K6 std frame for $69 in March

  • Still waiting for Keychron to release an ortholinear Bluetooth keyboard lmao

  • +5

K8 is $109 at Mwave and has been for quite some time

    • Mwave's price for the same model in this deal is also $119. K8 Alu RGB Gateron brown switches. They do have the K8 Alu RGB Gateron blue model for $109.

    • +1

109 for the std version, mwave are all out of stock for the hot swappable ones.

Tomorrow is the review date for eBay seller status. Good luck Harris!

HT still has the balls to show up on Ozbargain after the sh!t show they pulled last week

  • Damnit! I just bought a Royal Kludge RK84 a week or so ago because it was about $50 cheaper than what I could find the hotswap K2 v2 for. I would have gone for the Keychron again at this price. Although not minding the RK84 after changing out the switches and putting some foam in the case to get rid of the hollowness.

Previously had a K3 (v1) with brown switches, which I didn't mind. Their build quality seems pretty reasonable for the price.

This company is worse than Rosman Computers, and you have the audacity to post about "deals"

  • I’m new to mechanical keyboards but also on Amazon for the same price $119. Just purchased with red switches not sure about y choice but looking forward to giving it a go.

    • I think the one you linked is not hot swappable, and not RPG backlight with alum frame

      • Is the one I got worth trying out for a newbie? Is hot swapping just the ability to swap a switch? Backlight I’m not so worried about plain white is fine by me. What s the Alum frame your referring to?

        • I am newbie looking to get into mech keyboard as well ^^ hot swappable just means you can take out the switches easily and replace with something else if you want, and theres no desoldering & re-soldering. Aluminium frame version adds aluminium frames around the keyboard

          • @bheart: Thanks for the info, do you know what the general mode of buying is? Do people usually buy a whole keyboard like the above and mod or can you buy parts and just DIY the whole thing? I’ve been looking round a few sites and sub reddits and see that people do pool buys but I can’t tell exactly what there getting, is it just specific parts like key caps or a full board and some of the prices are huge. I saw one Setup the other day that had a keyboard from back to the future which looks awesome

            • @cptjamest: This is up to you really. Do you just want to try out mech keyboard or get really into custom keyboard builds? If you know exactly what switch you want and never change then you dont need hot swappable. I prefer swappable just in case I want a different switch later on and not wasting the whole keyboard, search up on youtube to see whats out there and what fit you I guess

              • @bheart: Will do, thanks for the advice. One more question, do people ever use different switch’s on different keys?

  • +4

Your order will be cancelled because apparently you have moved house and have invalid address according to them

  • +2

They might not deliver your item because of something wrong with your address.

  • +3

This company doesn't honour their deals. Stay away!

  • Hey HT, Would love to purchase a k4v2 hotswappable if there’s a deal! Don’t care much for the switches as I’ll be swapping anyway

  • Any reason you wouldn't buy these direct from Keychron..? (https://www.keychron.com/)

    Seem a lot cheaper online..

    • Shipping and being sent from the US. Prob won’t get here for a month

    • $105 USD shipped? More expensive that the price listed here.

  • Could someone share the sauce for this anger

The anger isn't because orders were cancelled, but because of the excuse provided for why a "single-use" discount code ended up being promoted across their stores and the reasons provided for order cancellations.

"Due to inexperience, the $15 coupon was made public and was shared across Ozbargain, when it was originally intended for private use by one person."

"We are sorry to let you know that harristechnologyaustralia cancelled your order and mentioned the cancellation reason as 'Something was wrong with the buyer's delivery address.'"

      • -4

how is this even a valid reason for neg, it happens once, not on purpose, sorry you didn't get the deal you want, move on lol

        • I don't care that I didn't get the deal I wanted.
But treating your customers like they are fools is a different story.

          • @Sixty Nine: Totally understand, I was in that deal too. But this is good deal for people who want the keychrons, why neg? You can tell from the upvotes and clicks

          • @Sixty Nine: it's just a reason they made up to cancel the order in accordance with ebay rule, not a big deal, get over it

  • +1

Oops should have read this earlier. I used the code that was not to be used by others. Expecting a cancellation..if it happens not a big problem.

    • Well I was not expecting it but they have dispatched my order.

  • Bought a K6 from the official site around a year ago. Solid keyboard.

  • +1

    Bad company. Stay away!

  • I use the K8 as a daily driver for everything gaming etc. great solid keyboard and love the design. using the gateron red switches.
