Just received an email that this deal is finally back !

However no mention of the $10 port-in credit in the banner :/ - hopefully someone can confirm this works

      • They missed the 20GB. The chat people last night were quite grumpy, so I simply asked them to raise it as a complaint.

  • tried and was told to wait 8 more days, as they need me to be off telstra network for min of 30 days. so may be on the last day of back friday week

    Help > Message Us > Type "Billing" > Type "Talk to an operator"

    Sounds silly but being polite and adding some smiley faces seems to get great results from online chat help in general.

        I said that a friend had gotten the credit on the same plan and asked how I could get it applied for me

        • I have tried that twice so far, both have asked for a reference, will try again tomorrow.

    • That's awesome! I wasn't able to get $15 credit. I chatted to two reps. They both said I needed to go back to JB to double check the offer, that they need to activate it on their end or they need to write a note on my account about it before they would honour it. The second rep offered me the $10 credit though. I kept mentioning my friend has gotten the $15 credit to no avail.

      I have been told the same thing, might have been an internal memo due to the number of requests, especially if everyone is trying several times. Be interested if you try and get it to work.

  • Just asked for $15 credit in the chat and got told that it was already applied? The rep told me to wait until my next bill.
    I ported out from the same plan a few months ago (and did manage to get the credit last time) so maybe it just never got taken off. Either way I saved the transcript, we'll see what happens when I get billed next month.

  • Got the $10 credit applied today, had tried the $15 unsuccessfully previously. Basically told them I wanted the $10 credit that I had been told is available, then cut and pasted one of the conversations that had been posted saying it was available.

  • PSA JB Hi-Fi are still running this offer instore today. I ported over this afternoon and my local store was open till 8pm. Just wrapped up online with Telstra who have applied a $15/pm credit!

  • Well the one rep. did say a credit is applied per month. I got my 1st bill already and there is NO credit. Furthermore on asking another chat rep. he said that I need to go back and JB Hifi to do it! So I guess my options are to what cancel…..

  • Same, got my first bill and no $10 credit. I clearly got approved from web chat the day I signed up. NO SURPRISE, Telstra.
    Too bad, I can't find the saved web chat transcript…
