    RTX3060 12 GB or RTX 3060TI 8 GB?

    • +5

      3060Ti 8GB

    • +3

3060ti is way better man. Just a bit lower than 3070 (I have an i5 11400 / Aorus 3060 ti elite build).

Check out some YouTube reviews to see the difference, explains it really well.

  • are these the only deals on or will there by be more for this sale….?

  • That's a great price on the 27dgf. Get on it.

  • will this deal work with the 7% discount for students

    • +2

No, this is on Dell's eBay site with its own code. I believe the student discount codes only work on dell.com.au

      • alright thanks

  • 27dgf back in stock. Just waiting 40 mins for the $395 price

    • Still out of stock for me, but the code looks active

      • Try now!

    • +5

I managed to convince Dell to get a truck load ready.

      • Thank you! Very much appreciated.

  • How do we get discounted gift cards for eBay?

  • Is express shipping available on the S2721DGF?

  • OOS for DGF?

    • nvm

  • Third time lucky!

  • Ordered - delivery by 4 Jan though…

    • Yeah, I was about to pull the trigger than saw that….wanted it as a xmas present…not sure now :S

      • +2

dell stuff usually comes super early

        • Yeh true. :S :S :S

What to do! What to do!?

          • @Danstar: dell have many reported issues on ozb regarding delaying shipping times. mine were delayed by 6 months!

        • If you get lucky and buy something that is actually in stock and not on backorder. One of my monitors was in stock and came in like three days (great time for WA) while the other took way over a month. I've noticed ebay orders take much longer than dell website orders based on comments from ozb.

          • @Ostrk: i got a dgf from the super cheap ebay deal half a year or so back. shipped quickly. it really depends on their stock levels, which they do not manage well at all.

  • Thanks OP got 1!

  • I'm assuming XPS Desktops only have the 1 m.2 slot?

From what I found, it looks like a SSD can be installed, would the PSU be able to handle that extra hard drive ?

    • +1

      Yes, it'll be fine

    • That video has basically sold me on getting it…just can't seem to find any 92mm coolers online

  • Are the prices on eBay already marked down? I see the price of S2721DGF as 493 and not able to bring it down to 395 with the code PLSDELL

Worked for me - ordered one about 15mins ago

  • Bought two for $790 plus 2% shopback

  • Is the Curved Gaming Monitor – S3422DWG a good monitor? It's coming at $549 with the coupon.

I'd mainly use it for graphic design work. And some light gaming. So the colours and sharpness will be more important than the refresh rate.

    Thanks in advance.

    • I'm not 100% sure if you want a curved monitor for graphic design work. It warps the graphics a bit. I have one and love it but I use it for work and gaming.

  • Anyone get this code to work? I've tried it on a few items and each time it says:
"This code can't be applied to your order"

    • same here.

This code can't be applied to your order.

    • Called eBay support, its because the base location of the account is not Australia for me. Created a new account and it worked.

  • Great price on the monitor, just got one - thanks dealbot

  • Is this 27" qhd better than AOC's equivalent?

  • Would people recommend this for ps5? Or xboxsx? I know that Sony are supposedly addressing 1440p compatibility so thought maybe this could be good.

    Any opinions would be appreciated.

    • No support for 1440 yet on PS5, but it may be there eventually. Otherwise, some 1440 monitors trick the PS5 into outputting a 4k60 signal or 1080/120 depending on the game - but unfortunately this monitor is not one of them that tricks it. So at the moment, it will be limited to 1080p at 120hz.

For reference I have an LG ultragear and it tricks the ps5 to a 4k signal, so then the monitor downscales it to the native 1440 and it looks great.

For xbox - that supports native 1440p. So you will have a perfect experience with this monitor.

    • I've used my PS5 with my DGF before and it's alright. In it's current state, the downscaled 1080p was a little jarring since I'm so used to seeing 1440p. I'd love to give it another shot if/when they implement 1440p compatibility.

Only HDMI 2.0 so don't expect to play the particular titles like COD or Fortnite at 120 FPS.

      • 120fps will work fine through hdmi 2.0, just at 1080p

        • Weird.. couldn't get it to work.

But good to know, cheers :)

          • +1

@jjsu: Make sure you select performance mode as default with games. Then try with games that have confirmed 120fps support, like Rocket League, Fortnite or F1 2021.

  • this is one of the lowest prices ive seen for the 27DGF. i've owned one for a few months now and its a real "no compromises" monitor. you cant go wrong with it.

  • This S2721DGF ($395 w/ 20% off) or the S2722QC ($369)? Will be used mainly for general WFH use + Lightroom & Photoshop. I like S2722QC because it has USB-C to power the notebook. Any recommendation?

  • +1

Hi, can anyone help me understand if I can link up this monitor with a USB-C monitor or Thunderbolt type of connection

with the Dell 27 Inch Gaming Monitor S2721DGF QHD 2560 x 1440 monitor?

I looks great, but I would like to try link the monitors up using that fancy cable haha… I have not idea :)

Which liquid cooler recommended for xps 8940?

  • Is this acceptable? Considering an RMA and if the next one is just like it I will ask for a refund.

    • Not at all. RMA that!

      • They said they won't replace it with a new one but with a refurb…see how it goes otherwise I'll ask for a refund.

    • How to make your the screen black like that to test? The only time I can see it is when shutting down. Thanks.

      • +1

        Watch that in full screen.

        • Thanks, I got the same issue with my monitor and they are going to send me the new one. I just bought the monitor last month, I didn’t realise it is faulty until I saw your comment.

  • Sorry to ask this question
Could some please advise if this is live yet? I had been trying to order Dell S2721DGF $395 but the price is 493 and is not accepting PLSDELL in the checkout.

    • 16 mins from now

      • Thank you. I got confused as there was a comment earlier that they were able to place it already. Will wait

        • Just for any others who are confused like I was. The offer is applicable even now if you are an ebay plus member.

I purchased [DELL XPS i5] (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dell-XPS-13-9305-Laptop-11th-Gen...) for $1348 via the Dell website.

    Original price $1898.98 (including GST)
    15% Dell discount
    7% Student discount code
Cashrewards 5% (not including GST). Actually, I missed the 12% cashback in a few minutes. Even if I purchased it, Dell may reject it but a safe bet of 5% is good.

    • Does cashrewards cashback still work after applying the student discount code?

  • +1

My DGF just dispatched with an ETA of 2 December (WA). Very surprised since the original estimate was 2 Jan.

    • +1

Fingers crossed they'll all be like that — just ordered 28 Nov and ETA is 10 Jan (!)

  • Dispatched quite fast as well (SYD)

  • Do I have to be a plus member on ebay to get this offer?
    Help this rookie..

    • Signed up for plus and this code worked.
The estimated delivery is showing as 7th of January 2022.. Oops..

  • Need help with Alienware desktop. Which one is bang for buck?
    Alienware Aurora R12 Gaming Desktop (i7 16gb 512gb 3060Ti) $2499. Or
    Alienware Aurora R10 Ryzen Gaming Desktop (Ryzen 7, 16gb, 512gb, 3069Ti) $2299

Which one would be better deal? Or stick with dell xps desktop?
