Google Nest Hub Max 85,000 Points (Was 115,000 Points) Delivered @ Telstra Plus

920

First post.
I have been waiting for a price drop on this for about 6 months as I wanted to gift it to my mother who has now recently passed away.
FINALLY it has been discounted and I've got enough points to buy it.

I've noticed Telstra Plus items go OOS frequently so snap it up before it's too late.

Free delivery for Gold members.

Sorry for your loss, thanks for the reminder to hug, kiss mum.

Sorry for your loss, OP. I hope you will enjoy this on behalf of your mother.

  • $249 at JB so this is slightly better if you have the points. Free delivery at Google Store for $249 too.

Best wishes for you and your immediate family.

The Galaxy tab S7 also seems looks to be at a reasonable discount with points.
Priced at $999 on Samsung education site (20% discount), Telstra has it for $840 + 3200 points.

    • I'm looking now and the S7 is showing $1,224 + 9000 points… Did it end?

      • Oh wow it must have?
When I click the link above before I login, I can still see the discounted price but when I login there is no longer a "hot offer" on the S7 tablets.
The S7 4G model that you are looking at was discounted from 415,000 points to 300,000 points.
I paid about $600 for mine after using the points I had.

        • Yeah weird, I can see it now but changes after sign in. Maybe a glitch as it says the Hot Offer is until 29th Nov. Maybe it will get fixed…

  • any charcoal available? also never spent my points is there anything else better to spend them on?

  • Showing 115,000 for me even after signing in.

    So did you buy it?

    • +2

Yes, I bought it for my family instead. Not really impressed with anything else on the Telstra Plus store.

      • Yeah the store isn’t that great

      • yeah majority of the time the products are overpriced

only good if there is a huge discount and can used your points.

FYI the Google Nest Hub Gen 2 is also 50% off, down to 25k points - https://checkout.telstra.com.au/consumer/rewards/technology-…

Might even be a better deal, you can snag 3*Google Nest Hub Gen 2's for 75k points.

    • Gen2 doesn’t have Camera. Nest Hub Max is good for video calling. Thats what we mainly use it for at home.

      • +1

Yup, personally I like Gen2's for bedrooms, Max for Kitchen and Mini's for everywhere else.

Aww. I got one of the smaller ones when my dog passed away. They make great digital photo frames, and I wanted to have pics of the little guy on display

If you are on a budget and afraid of Google watching over you (with its camera), you can also use Lenovo tab 3 7" essential (or any decent tablet) to show the family photos, using android daydream feature.

Thanks Op, my condolences got your loss. I'm not after hub Max but the nest hub 2nd gen is also 50% off from 50000 pts to 25000 pts and I just happen to have 20000 pts. Nabbed one

  • Went for the gen 2 because the camera my mum wouldn't use.
