MSI GeForce RTX 3060 GAMING X 12GB GPU + Corsair Vengeance RGB RT 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR4 3200MHz Memory $999 + Delivery @ BPC Tech

250

Not a bad deal if you're looking for an RTX 3060 as well as some RAM.

The Gaming X variant from MSI tends to retail for $999 - $1,099 on its own. So you're essentially getting free RAM.

This is the updated variant of the Corsair Vengeance RGB as well.

Decent if you need this right now. Otherwise feel free to HODL. I don't really care.

      Wrong and wrong.

The cheapest MSI RTX 3060 Gaming X I can find currently in stock is $999. The RAM retails for at least $119. That's $1,118.

      $1,118 is more than $999.

Also, model variants absolutely matter for the 3060, and pretty much any GPU.

hahahaha, 3060 is pretty much $1000 these days, the ram doesn't matter, its ddr4, you can still use 5 year old ddr4 lying around in the drawer.

    Waiting for a 5600x and 3060ti or 3070 combo!

    • what's ur price expectation on these?

      • Hopefully similar to the last techfast deal of ~$1150-$1200 for 5600x + 3060ti combo

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/648294

        • Won't happen, have asked Luke, he said not possible with current stock level.

        • The dell deal at $1699 outperform the ryzen 5600x.
you got $500 left to buy PSU, case, cooler, mobo, etc. still not gonna cut it if you spend $1200 on the bundle.

          • @[Deactivated]: Aww damn….. I asked him on 18/11/21 and he said hopefully on the 5600x and 3060ti combo. Thing is I've been slowly buying stuff left right and center and all that's left is the GPU and CPU, so that deal would've been perfect!

So seems like I will continue to wait for a 5600x deal at ~$350 and try to pick up a 3060ti if anything good pops up this weekend. Otherwise I got GTX 1050 from my current build that I could continue use,

            • @hexad: the 5600g/3060 ti deal already out as prebuild, not bundle.
He said he'll try i5/i7 deal this week, not sure if its prebuild or bundle.

I just don't think you'll se that bundle again, like ever.

Why don't you buy the dell instead? its all in one ready to go with i7. I know it removes the joy of building ur own rig, but for the price and performance. its the best you can get as of now.

              • @[Deactivated]: Is this the Dell deal you are referring to? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/393707454483

                Unfortunately I've already spent $1100 on a lancool 2, 650w PSU, 32gb RAM, 2TB NVME, B550 mobo and D15s air cooler :(

                • @hexad: yeap that's the one.

which mobo did you get? $1100 for all those kinda steep, and you end up spending close to $2300 for ryzen 3060ti build assuming you can get those techfast deal again.

Dell only $1699 and you get the 8 core i7 cpu which outperforms ryzen 5600x by significant margin with still the same 65w tpu.

                  • @[Deactivated]: I bought the msi b550 tomahawk from centrecom for $171. Yea I thought it’d be fun building one from scratch since I can base it on my preference but oh well

  • how long would one have to mine with this to make back the $1000?

    • Roughly 50 weeks.

      • hmmm…. quite tempting
