Yes this is way too expensive for a Gold sub, but with 5 games included I think it's good. As the picture says, it will take 4-6 weeks for the games to be emailed to you in download token form and must be redeemed before June 30. Auto renewal can be cancelled here http://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing-and-subscriptions/subs… Here are the 5 games…

To get the deal, here is the slightly hard (oh boy) part.

  1. make a US account by following this guide http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=92…

  2. sign into your new US account and turn on auto-sign in (in profile on the far right tab of the dashboard)

  3. turn the 360 off and on again

  4. while the 360 is loading (with the spinning white circles) the US marketplace content, quickly press the guide button (that big silver button on the controller) and sign in your main account

  5. the US marketplace content has loaded with YOUR main (Aussie) account on it

  6. on the front page wait for it to scroll and click on the deal and it should come up with that picture in the link above

  7. confirm the deal (paypal works too!)

  8. done!

When I can, I'll upload a video on how to do so.

    Pretty much only 2 games. And downloading them spends bandwidth, so it's going to end up more than $39.99

    Dunno about the rest of them but at EB Games, even a preowned copy of Fable 3 is about $25

      With the thing I found out as mentioned above, the sub won't work on the aussie account, but the games will. Since the games are sent in a 25 digit code, you can redeem it on the aussie account. (codes are not region locked, except for MS points)

      Yes you can. I'd recommend a 16GB USB drive, which will be able to store… at least 2 of the 5 games. The rest of 'em, don't redeem the code until you find yourself a cheap HDD.

      Cheap HDD - try DSE (Dick Smith Electronics - local purchase) or OzGameShop (import from UK - X360 accessories are region free so it will work with your AU console). You can get a 250/320GB HDD for the Xbox 360 S (slimmer console) for a decent price.

      It should be noted that the largest HDD/USB Flash drive that a Xbox 360 currently supports is a 16gb disk (if you insert a 32gb or larger disk it will format as 16gb usable)

      So don't expect to install a 1tb disk to have all that usable.

      Well if I did get it, it wouldn't. The US account will have the gold instead, that will be pointless to me. In short, get this deal if you just want the five games, not the gold.
