Note that you can add a "premium upgrade" to Premium tickets that let's you cancel and get a full refund (excluding upgrade fee). Strange naming convention, but handy if there's not much difference in price between the sale and premium tickets.

    Booked a 260km return Adult fare next weekend for $52. Saved $18. With $10 credit towards future travel

    Higher petrol price makes the bus cheaper for 1 person. Might book a few more for next year & change dates later.

    Bought ADVANCE tickets - cost a little more & allows change with 1 day min notice.
    PREMIUM cost more again & allow change with 15min min notice.
    PREMIUM UPGRADE cost $10 more than PREMIUM & allows a refund. (Not worth paying about $30 more on a $50 return ticket!)

    Checking a 6 hour ride, Early Bird ticket was 1/3 of price of Premium!

      May be cheaper to wait until travel dates are certain & buy Early Bird ticket (early).

      In that 6 hour ride, flexible Advantage (not "Advance" - typo in above comment) ticket is now reduced from $166 to $124 return, but Early Bird ticket normal price is $74 return (limited seats)!

      If you have purchased an Advantage Fare Ticket, you can change the date and time of your current journey up to 24 hour prior to departure, provided there are seats available on the service in the Advantage Fare category.

    Found out a few things after ringing Greyhound …

    If using a Concession, it doesn't discount price. Concession holders are eligible for a 10% discount of full fare adult Tickets.

    An error according to staff. Was told they can discount Concession fare over phone, also waiving $5 booking fee. Otherwise Concession fare was otherwise dearer than Adult fare
