…and it'll keep getting cheaper until sold out.
Kogan reverse-auction their prices, so the gamble is to wait until it gets cheaper, risking that it'll be SOLD OUT before you buy.
I bought off them at $519 + postage, not knowing this.

Not THAT amazing. I live in a small, country town and my local inderpendent phone shop is selling them for around this price I'm pretty sure. And that's AUS stock…

  • This is what we call "Price War". I have been thinking to pull the trigger to get one but holding on my horse

Is this the phone with the dissapointing battery life (which is also not removable?)

If so, wouldn't recommend it at all. Not at this price anyway. Get a Galaxy Nexus instead.

  • Yeah, definitely get a GNex at this price. If you're dying to get the Razr; wait for the Razr XL with the crazy big battery, or the new one which Motorola will release soon.

  • the razr is quite a solid phone. the razr maxx has a larger battery but no other differences. razr battery is also upgradable. i have been using the phone for 2 weeks and have had no issues. quite pleased.

  • I have one of these and this phone did have rather poor battery life, but since the latest Android 2.3.6 update it has been, let's say, improved.

    this phone is crap

  • Turning off 3g, location, wifi, bluetooth, and everything you don't need all the time, should make it last much longer. Not sure about Razr, but my windows phone can go on for days with one charge.

If you turn all those things off, then you don't need a phone like this. What are you going to do with it, use it for posing to your mates?

      • I said, I turn off the things I don't need "all the time". I turn them back on when I actually need them. Which part of that three words you don't understand?
Do you use wifi on a train? Do you need location service when you are at home? My answer is no.
There are widgets help you manage all these services easily. And they are popular for a reason.

  • What do you guys think about the products (especially phones) sold by Kogan?
How was the quality of the product? Any reviews from you guys? Any shopping experience with Kogan before?

  • If only they had of included the monster battery from the start…
