Deal is only till sold out, all time new lowest price by 1c for 200g Biltong and 1kg Dry Wors

Peri Peri and Chilli Garlic were my favourite Biltong Flavours out of the 6 flavours I tried. I loved the Dry Wors(Dried Sausage) from last deal, even more than the Biltong. The right amount of fat and a nice chew overall I could could eat it for dinner!

I finished my 5kg of Taster Packs and ate all my 10kg of Dry Wors from the second deal.
Sent Peter at 4 Hunters a message asking if he could do a discount on his 200g Biltong and Dry Wors(Dried Sausage)
Although his prices were the best in Australia he was once again able to reduce them by $3.01 for 200g and $1.01/kg for Dry Wors 1kg for Ozbargain! As per first Ozbargain deal feedback he has added Nutritional information to the website!

The quality and taste was exceptional especially for this cheap price. People from last deal can attest to the flavour and 5 stars on Google reviews and 4.9 on Facebook.
He keeps track of stock levels so will always fulfil your order on time for Christmas.
I bought 10kg last time and it was delivered with tracking in a week.
Express Shipping but will be quicker with Complimentary Upgrade to Express!

The exact thing happened last promo you had here too, ordered on 18th of Oct, shipped on 25th.

Amount of orders understandable but what exactly the difference to me, customer, whether it'll be sent by express mail or not if it's not processed for a week? I always thought express implies I get it next working day after day of order.

@DainB We are doing this at our expense upgrading to Express, not to make sure you get it next day .But to make sure you receive you order during the Xmas period, considering the postal nightmares going on at the moment with major delays all over the country. Express seems to be having no issues.

  • Shipping prep notification received via auspost, toot toot

Still waiting on a shipping notification and I ordered fairly quickly after deal went up =(

Im guessing these were all batch shipped, rather than first in best dressed?

Express shipping upgrade is nice, but I feel OP could be a little more transparent on HOW these are picked and shipped.

Same, express shipping does not make much sense if it takes more than a week to ship.

On the contrary, I prefer my dried meats take a little while to ship if they're going to be freshly made instead of sitting in a warehouse.
Just received the drywors and they are great! Better than anything I've bought going past a stall and I'll be back for more once I finish my batch.

    • @hybir thanks for that , Im so glad you enjoyed your order

  • Just received mine today took a while but I was in no hurry.

I was kinda shocked to read on the label ideally consume within 3 days of opening? Is it still ok after say 7-10 days? I'd struggle to get through 1kg in 3 days TBH :-)

You can freeze it or put it into a fridge, and it will last longer. It is full of salt, so 10 days in the fridge should be fine. At least it was fine for me in the past, but your mileage may vary.

      • OK great thankyou very much for your comments!

It's just CYA disclaimer, probably because of some food regulations. Both biltong and droewors were invented so that don't need refrigeration, i.e. pork fat typical for boerewors sausages that can go rancid without refrigeration is replaced in droewors by other animal fats that do not.

@DR-JEKL As long as its sealed 1 year before opening is the shelf life , as soon as it opens 3 - 6 days to consume. we take it out of the packaging and it last even longer . If you keep it in the fridge in a air tight container then mould might start so not recommended .

Brown bag can last well over a week

      • So its safer to have it in a brown paper bag in the pantry even in the middle of summer?

        • Depends how warm your pantry is . I keep it in a brown sandwich bag in the fridge . Or if not to warm in the pantry

  • Ahh thanks for the clarification, I thought you were stating in the fridge was a no no but more so not to leave it in the sealed bag or container in the fridge as mould could grow?

Yeah its warm here this week I'm seeing 28 deg C interior temps

  • Got this deal and tbh, flavourless.. Shame!
