        But that’s now, and has been the same for quite some time. How could anyone buy a ticket to Japan (plus all the other involved bookings) with any confidence when they haven’t announced any opening date, and are perpetually closed off?

        Don't know about through these guys but through Qantas at the moment it is pretty good.

          that's if you book through Qantas directly.

          My misus booked Japan trip before the lockdown and when she needed to cancel because the borders are closed, it took her like 6 months and 100 calls before they agreed to refund. Never booking through an agent again.
