    Some notes to add:

    1. This deal requires an Everyday Rewards account. If you do not have an Everyday Rewards account, use this link to get 1,500 bonus points as a sign-up bonus. The sign-up bonus points can take up to 30 business days to be credited to your account. For a limited time, if you sign into your new account through the Everyday Rewards app, you will also get a special booster offer for 1,000 bonus points for shopping at Woolworths, which is valid until 29 Dec.

    2. OP has only listed the participating retailers of the Visa version of the Ultimate gift cards. Some Woolworths and Woolworths Metro stores are still selling the older EFTPOS versions of the Ultimate gift cards, of which you'll find the participating retailers of that gift card here.

    3. If any of you are looking for gift cards that can be redeemed at Barbeques Galore, City Beach, Cotton On, Deliveroo, H&M, JD Sports, Luxury Escapes, T2 or The Iconic, Coles is running a deal from 15 Dec to 24 Dec where you will get 15% off Celebration gift cards. They're sold in $100 and $200 denominations, plus $4 from each gift card sold will be donated from Beyond Blue. If I remember correctly, Celebration gift cards are actually Visa gift cards issued by Heritage Bank, which is the same as the Visa versions of the UItimate gift cards.

    • I can't find the coles celebration gift cards

      • It depends on whether your local Coles actually has Celebration Gift Cards in stock. I visited two different Coles stores yesterday, and only one of them had them in stock on the gift card shelf.

  • +6

Not as good as this week's Coles ultimate. But that's still better than those TCN cards.

  • +5

If you convert the points to reward dollars its 10% off from what I can tell

    • +4

True, and at least we don't have to go through the hassle of finding and visiting multiple stores or looking in the pets aisle ;)

  • Are these available at metro woolies as well?

    • +1

      Yes, according to the T&Cs:

Offer available from 15/12/21 to 21/12/21 on all denominations of pictured Gift Cards in Woolworths supermarket, Woolworths Metro and Woolworths MetroGo only, while stocks last.

    • +1

It is not available at Ampol Woolworths Metro or Caltex Woolworths Metro (i.e. the Woolworths Metros attached to Ampol / Caltex service stations). You can see the list of those locations here.

  • Is that like 10% off? $100 GC = 2100 points = $10?

    • If you are using the Money Off Shopping or Bank For Christmas redemption option, you'll earn 10% of the gift card's value in Everyday Rewards points. If we use your example and you spend $100 on UItimate gift cards through this deal, you'll earn 2000 Everyday Rewards points, which will be converted into a $10 discount on most future purchases at Woolworths (including Woolworths Metro), BIG W, BWS and participating EG / Caltex Woolworths service stations.

However, if you are using Qantas points, it is harder to say, as Qantas points don't really have a fixed "value", plus the "value" of each Qantas point will depend on how you redeem Qantas points.

      • +3

yeah, Money Off is the one I was thinking. Just making it clearer for others that will compare it to the Coles 15% off

      • +1

Sorry, what are these Money Off Shopping or Bank For Christmas redemption options? Are they stuff you need to prepare/select before-hand, like on the app? I have an Everyday Rewards card, but never bothered with the app before.

        • +1

Money Off Shopping or Bank For Christmas are the two options that allow you to convert your EDR points into EDR dollars.

          • Money Off Shopping allows you redeem EDR dollars at any time during the calendar year.
          • Bank For Christmas only allows you redeem EDR dollars during December. (If you were wondering, it is a hangover from the Frequent Shopper Club.)

I believe the default option is Money Off Shopping, so if you have not updated your account preferences on the EDR website or through the EDR app, your account would be set up with Money Off Shopping as your redemption option.

  • +1

I have to get $700 worth cards for presents. Might collect 7000 QFF points. If I have worked that out correctly.

    • +2

Nope. I think 2000 EDR pts are equal to 850 QFF pts.

      So 5950 QFF pts. Maybe.

      • +4

Nope, that was the old conversion rate. The current conversion rate is 2000 EDR points = 1000 QFF points, so @burns13 calculations were correct.

    • +3

Apologies. WM has corrected me and you were right.

  • Is it worth taking 2000 rewards everyday points or 1000 qantas points?

    • +1

If you redeem your qantas points for flights, probably worth it. If not, better just shop with those points in woolworths.

  • For me this is better than the Coles deal.

  • Does the student card come in $50 or $100? My local Woolies has only $30.

    • +2

I think Ultimate Students Cards only come in $30 and $50, but not 100% sure.

      • Confirmed i see 30 and 50

  • Anyone know if we can top up opal with the rewards points at certain Woolworth? I know we can with wish gc but as I will get points from this deal it's better if I can use points (2000 equal $10)

  • Hi guys, I bought the Eats $50 cards. But when I try to use at Deliveroo it doesn't allow using more than 1 card.
So I have a $51 order, I can't use this $50 and another card. I can't use this card at all unless the amount <$50. Which means I can never use the final balance on it. What's the deal? These are useless then?
    Is menulog the same?

    • Are you able to exchange the $50 Ultimate gift card for a $50 Deliveroo gift card, and then use the $50 Deliveroo gift card and $1 from a regular credit/debit card to pay for that $51 order?

Just in case you were not aware of this, the expiry date you use for any payments online or for gift card exchanges is 12/29.

      • Oh wow. It's so much more complicated than I expected! Didn't know any of that thanks.
Imagine if I gave this to my grandma. omg what a nightmare!

        • … and I haven't even touched upon whether you can use multiple gift cards in one transaction at Deliveroo, or whether it is possible to exchange your Ultimate Eats gift card for Menulog gift cards or other gift cards…

I agree it is not straightforward to use up the entire balance on these kinds of gift cards! I guess that’s one way they make money off you…

  • I have one gift card left from first offer from coles several weeks back did someone say somewhere that you can purchase jb hifi gift card in store with the tcn home card.
As I do find it a little bit restricted on certain item I get or at times prefer to order online.
I know you can use them online now but im sure you can purchase the jb hifi card in store.

  • We have an ultimate gift card for Teens and were NOT able to use it at Grill'd Southland. Manager said she'd had plenty of them shown after Christmas and none worked. YMMV.
