Gaming PC with RTX 3060 Ti, Intel Core i7-10700KF, 16GB RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD $1999 + Delivery ($0 VIC C&C) @ BPC Technology

300

This seems like a good deal for a prebuilt. It has a z490, sn750 1tb, and a 700w gold power supply. Looks good to me.

  • Should i replace my i7 7700 rtx 2080 with this, Or is it a downgrade?

    • It'll be an upgrade, about 9% for the graphics card.

Not a downgrade. But also not a big upgrade

    • +11

I’d keep your system. Not a downgrade though.

Thank you, will wait for some 3070ti or 3080 deal i guess. Thanks all for replys

you'd see a bigger difference by moving to the 10th gen i7 vs to the 3060 Ti in games.

    • I would wait for a bundle with a 12th gen cpu in your position. Might be next year though

  • Store in title!

  • That title though…

  • very tempted to upgrade my 1070 with this. or should i push a little bit more for a 3070?

    • +1

      Probably won't feel the difference between a 3060Ti and a 3070 as it's only a 5-10% difference

      • Not the original commenter but what about going from a gtx 1060

        • +4

from 1060 to 3060Ti? A world of difference.

    Ps. It’s a mini

    • +1

Any hit on performance from being a mini?

      • +3

From what I’ve read from others not really. Possible thermals might get a tad warmer, but otherwise same card as a normal sized one

  • Most of the prebuilt always need to add wifi on top, is it because MB with wifi cost way more expensive?

    • Pretty much, if you don't want the usb dongle the Mobo has an extra PCIe for a card

    • I would have expected most people don't use wifi for gaming but could be wrong.

Good value. I regret getting the black friday deal. Better cpu, better PSU, better NVMe ssd, has aftermarket cpu cooler. If you don't mind the mini gpu.

  • In terms of value how does this compare to this other build they have?

    https://www.bpctech.com.au/product/kp-msi-dragongaming02-kra…

    • This post with z490 motherboard is better value. Cheaper, Motherboard that allows full use of the CPU/ram speed, More/faster storage, slightly larger power supply.

GPU may be a slightly cheaper model but should be just as effective

      • Thanks daffyd!

Just deciding which to buy of the two. Is the fact that this post has a mini GPU and the one I linked doesn't a big factor?

        • I decided for similar cost to get this one with a better GPU (3070 ti) instead of the better CPU.

Probably going to be slow to arrive though as the GPU seems to be in 'pre-order'.
