To be fair, this is not an invitation-only promotion. I can see many stores and private sellers who are "eligible" and no price jacks. You just have to spend some effort to dig around for what you want.

Signed up to ebay plus in June, after using the initial $50 voucher, haven’t bought anything since. It’s poor value and lots of things I’m interested in has a higher price then rrp. Won’t be renewing it.
Same here, except I forgot to cancel it and it auto-renewed.. doh.
They are still sending me $5 vouchers each month, but they mostly go unused.
With all the plus deals it is possible to pick up stuff near RRP without paying extra for shipping. But good deals are hard to find.
Plus items do have free shipping, but that is often factored into the price, e.g. $10 + $8 shipping for non-Plus item, or $18 for Plus item. Ironically if buying multiple of the same item I am often better of with eBay Plus.
It shows as expiring 15/12/21
Does anyone know if that means tonight at midnight… or the end of tomorrow?
