I dont get it when a business has the same item on ebay for less with free delivery than their own website. Given Ebay seller fees and discount code fee split you would think a business would want more people to buy direct by offering the same, if not better, price on its website.

What I've heard from the store owner is the competition with other sellers on eBay is pushing them to adjust the price.
But if you are visiting the website you already there and you can't see competitor's prices.
That logic doesn't make sense to me. I would understand if they do the other way around - put some items on eBay but set the price higher to accomodate eBay fees and to make direct sales more attractive.

Had something similar like this happen to me on their eBay store before. Put something in my watch list, I was then offered a discount soon after it was in my watch list. I went to order and they out of stocked it. Soon after it was back and they put the price up higher than it was before and would not accept the discount they had offered.
Made my purchase elsewhere and won’t buy from them in the future.

Why not match the price from ebay on your store direct, rather than jacking up the price on ebay to match the store?
Voting guideline is unclear if price jacking is a suitable grounds for a neg, but I give a neg for cheaper price elsewhere (prior to price jack), and poor action by rep to jack the price on ebay once this was pointed out it was cheaper from their own ebay store (issue with retailer)! (If not an appropriate neg, happy for mods to remove)
iMagoo has given the store rep the idea.. hahaha… however still too expensive for a kettle for me.

The pouring style is important too, especially for a filter where you don't want to disturb the filter cake too much. Less so for immersion brewing (French press, etc).
Does this have any sort of audible alert when it's ready? I had thought this was a basic feature for any kettle, but got a new one recently and discovered that's not the case :(

Both the old and the new kettle I had are nearly silent when heating up, not a chance I can hear them from the next room. The original one I had was great though, a nice (although somewhat synthetic) whistle sound when it finished always reminded me I was making a drink rather than getting lost in work
I have this and it doesn’t. It has a hold function to maintain the desired temp for up to an hour
