    Nothing in mine but then I opted out of the constant stream of marketing junk mail. It used to be only great deals but now it is non stop marketing with deals few and far between..

    As you have to be opted in for junk marketing I am happy to miss out out on the $10.00. On the other hand I have just changed my account to opt in which I will change back tomorrow to opt out - if I pick up $10.00 well and good if not I am happy to not have their junk marketing stuff..

    These scammers cancelled my order last time and made up some baloney excuse that the item was obsolete so they couldn't send it.

      A few comments that orders were cancelled.

      3 day earlier $2 gaffer tape Deal was more popular with 5634 clicks!
      1 Comment that order was cancelled. But another bought "a carton"

      Stock was overwhelmed in some areas by the number of orders in 2 popular Deals within days - leading to cancellations. That's what sometimes happens in very popular Deals!

      Not a scam! Great service!

      I turned up in store to collect order from first Deal, about 2 weeks after order was confirmed. Friendly staff member looked out the back & asked if my name was… Yes! Easy.
      He'd used the tape & was impressed.

      11,000 clicks in those Deals. Stock systems are rarely accurate & often can't handle that level of orders.

      No sign of scam business.
      Seems you just missed out.

    I gave up on them and told them I will buy Sydney Tools in future when they reneged on my Black Friday orders. Pure bait game - is it that hard for them to follow no stock = no order. I will or course use my remaining insider dollars on some small item just to say F you.

      No & no.
      Both entry level Bronze accounts received this email & $10 credits. 1 was never used.

      Made 2 accounts on 26/11. Signed up both for Insider Rewards

      On 1 account, bought $2 gaffer tape, received $10 join up referral credit + 2c credit on $2 purchase. Used credit to buy more gaffer tape with free delivery.

      Other account was never used. Didn't use referral code (testing effect of using referral code, as was asked by Neil) - no $10 join up credit added.

      Received $30 credit in 3 weeks.
      Glad I joined!

    It's a bit confusing when you log in and it shows the following:
    Promotional Reward $10, expiry 18-DEC-2021
    You have $10.15 Insider Dollars to redeem. Expiry: 01-DEC-2022

    When I purchase something, it's deducted from my $10.15 Insider Dollars which expires Dec 2022, instead of deducting it from this $10 promotion which expires today.
    How do I save my $10.15 Insider Dollars for another time and instead use the $10 Promotional Reward to purchase something today?

      How do you know it's deducting from your long term Insider Dollars? I haven't tried yet.

      Am similarly placing order with credit in both ($8+$10). Will likely use up all credit to avoid that.

        By default it's only deducting the Insider Dollars, not the Promo Reward
        I can't see how to apply the $10 Promotional Reward
        I want to spend $20.25 on 2 items but they will only apply $10 from my $10.15 Insider Rewards
        I briefly got it to deduct the $10 Promo Reward but can't replicate it now.. shopping cart is definitely buggy when using Insider Dollars together with Promo Reward

                But this is still strange because I bought these bungee straps for $10.35. I used up $10 Insider Reward (but it should show as $10 Promo Reward) and then paid 35 cents at checkout. But when I check my account after the transaction, I still have $10.15 Insider Rewards expiring Dec 2022, but the Active Insider Rewards (Promo Reward) of $10 is now empty

                  @[Deactivated]: Last night your account would have shown 25c, before the $10 credit was added today. Mine showed $8.02 yesterday. Now it's $18.02.

                  All that matters is when you again order, does it allow you to take $10 off the price?? Likely it will show that's not available at checkout!

                  As shown in your account, changes to Insider Dollars take up to 48hrs to update.
