            @XxAiDsTaRxX: Cause 12th Gen has a new socket (LGA 1700) most coolers that aren't brand new are LGA 1200, the coolers support sites should/would send the bracket for 1700 (I had to do the same with my Arctic)

        I got one and noticed the fans were installed incorrectly and I know someone else got one and it was wrong as well, so just check that. The top and back fan should not be sucking dirty air into the case and then blowing it through the radiator. The radiator fans should be on the very front of the case pushing fresh and through the radiator and into the case for the top and back fan to push it out. Other than that the PC is running great!

            @skinner84: Yep, I changed mine around. Notice about a 10 - 15 degree reduction while gaming. I emailed them to give them a heads up and they never responded.

          aio cooling is much quieter than air cooling, under full load my aio barely spin faster than idle at 62c max, with my stock ryzen air cooler on full load sounds like a jet engine

          Funny enough, this is the real reason I'd go with air over liquid cooling.

          With time flying by so past recently, it's going to feel like you're having to service your PC every few weeks (sidenote: is it just me or did 2021 go by in a few weeks?)

      Yeah liquid coolers are pretty loud (too loud imo) unless you spend top dollar on a 360mm with good fans.

      Just noticed this is a 360 but I do know the fans on these EVGA coolers are loud.

    I have one of their earlier builds with this case and AIO. Unless you wear headphones you're going to notice the loud fans of the AIO even at the lowest RPM. I recommend picking up something else (like Arctic) and putting them on it. I put Arctic on mine and they're now cooler as well as being much more quiet.

    Also good to see they've taken feedback onboard and the builds are much better quality.

    The 2699 EVGA 3080 deal around black friday week was a bit better imo. 2tb gen 4 SSD, less ram and an 11400f/z590 combo but arguably nicer model GPU and performs identically for gaming. I picked that one up and mostly happy with the build quality aside from AIO pipes mucking with the top fans.

        The 11400 was released in March 2021 and is a very competent CPU trading blows with the 5600x. Just because alder lake exists, doesn't mean you need to spend an additional 20-25% on the build.

        I mean if you get the 12700 I can only imagine with that mindset one would still want to upgrade when new Intel 13th gen parts come out. And while we're at it may as well upgrade to 3090 as well ;)

        You'll probably want to upgrade that measly 1tb SSD too ;)

      Luckily all intel cpus have some graphics processing so yep, no GPU needed to run the PC.

      Hold up, you don't need GPU to render music/process or is that only video editing I'm thinking of.

              But it's more that there's a right and a wrong way to mount these, and if they're mounting this wrong, then what else could be done incorrectly during build?

              I'm not new to builds, but don't know anything about water cooling apart from that vid. I guess I'm just being cautious with $3300+shipping which is a lot for me.

                @Quantico: It's not wrong.
                Wrong would be to have the cooler at the bottom and the pump/block the highest point. Doing this would cause the air to pool at the pump and killing the pump as it needs the liquid to lubricate the bearings.

                Mounting it with tubes up top means that you 'could' get some noise from the air pooling at the top of the rad, but it's not wrong. It's just not ideal in terms of NVH. So long the pump is lower then top of the rad its fine.

                Cooling with the stock fans on my build was really low anyway.

      Well a 2tb Gen4 SSD is going to set you back at least $365, so the upgrade cost is reasonable. If you play new games, the extra SSD space is probably good, I'd personally opt for it.

    I don't get the point of a GPU dominant CPU … how come the xbox and PS current models are so much cheaper ..hard to find maybe..but cheaper than this CPU ..for gaming. I get the point of this GPU for mining but I assume most people seem to say it is a great deal mean it is a great deal for a gaming rig. I am obviously not into games, just curious..so is a mega powered GPU better for gaming than the latest gen of xbox or PS? I thought most games are designed for consoles, are companies bringing out games that can only run on these GPUs ? Just a noob question

      People just always want the latest thing even if they have no use for the additional power (whereas better GPU is always going to benefit gaming).

      Hell, a 10400f is plenty of grunt to drive a 3080 at 1440p res and above.

    Just can't imagine every human interacting with the PC treating it like I would just putting it on my desk, nice and easy.

      No I think in the current busy season climate that all workers will be trying to pump out as much productivity as possible but at the same time they know your concerns so should be careful so my guestimate is yes and no or 50%.

      I wonder what BPC Technology's policy on insurance and damages is.

      I would hope they have a fairly good delivery rate.

      I think their problem is, they cover up to $1500, so if you're worried, I'd suggest contacting them, ensuring they will cover the total amount if damaged, and if there is an issue, at least you're covered.

          I'd contact them and have them confirm, if they do, you can fall back on that assurance. If not, then it's up to you whether you chance it. If they don't, you could always offer to pay the extra for full insurance.

      Auspost insurance doesn't cover electronics sadly….which is pretty disappointing considering most things are electronic.

      I've received a build before from BPC Tech, they put in foam paddings inside the case so the components inside are less likely to move. Another reason they go AIO is that Air coolers are generally bulky and are more likely to get damaged during shipping. I would say it is as much as they can do. Shipping was through Fastway. It's still not going to be bulletproof from shipping, but mine fortunately came in one piece.

      I bought one from them mid year, came perfect in post. They keep it in the case box and put padding inside the case. No problems.

        It shipped within 2 days then took about 7 days to arrive. They sent it via Australia post aswell even though it stated fastaway when I ordered it. If it's over 1500 cost I think they use Australia post as fastaway only cover 1500 with insurance.
