Ducky One 2 SF RGB Mechanical Keyboard Cherry Brown 1-Day Bundle $129 (Was $213) + Delivery @ PC Case Gear

150

Looks like pccg is back with another day of Christmas deal for mechanical keyboard.

This time there's arrow keys and the popular ducky one 2 SF RGB keyboard collection but it's not hotswappable keyboard like previous akko keyboard deal so no harvesting switches this time around.

Pros is you get the deskmat and the limited edition space bar too for a total of 129 which I think is pretty good deal. Alternatively you can opt for the ducky one keyboard Kailh switches that is going for 109 at the moment at pccg.

Bundle Contents:
1xDucky One 2 SF RGB Mechanical Keyboard Cherry Brown
1xDucky Trick or Treat Limited Edition Deskmat
x1 Ducky Halloween 2021 Limited Edition PBT Spacebar

deskmat and the limited edition space bar for 129 which I think is pretty good deal

is it tho? keyboard RRP is $10 cheaper, looks like they've jacked the price of brown to make it look better in comparison.

    • it says On sale! (normally $159) on that 'rrp' listing

      • Regardless, it's regularly been $110 historically.

Thus I would not consider the manufacturer's "RRP" of $159 to be its true RRP.

        • why would the absolute lowest price its been be regarded as the rrp?

The inclusion of the desk mat makes it a nice deal IMO. Sure you could get a $15 jobbie from Amazon but nice looking desk mats are their whole own thing in the mech kb hobby.

Had to return my One 2 SF from a prior deal due to key chatter issues which became evident after 4 months. Buyer beware.

PC CG refunded keyboard value only, not the original shipping cost (return shipping was paid). Feels a bit off that this keyboard, which clearly has widespread QA issues, is still sold when a large portion of customers will need to return it.

    • Ah yeah I did read that quite many people experience that. Was that pertaining specifically to a certain batch at that point or in general?

Seems like it was in general - there are posts online that are recent, some years old.

Ducky One 3 is announced and likely be released soon in Australia?

I am not sure when they'd be coming out in Australia but, they are on the official website.

That is if you want hotswappability and foams inside the case, which looked like nice features.

    • PCCG have the DO3 up for pre order mid January.

I thought I checked but, I must've not done it proper XD.

Anyways, yeah, it sounded like they are adding a lot of cool features to the board.

      • cant see any of the full length ones, only the mini, TKL and SF

        • I guess there is no ETA for the full size DO3.

    • Cheers mate, wasn't aware of this and will keep an eye on now - PCCG has an ETA of 14/01 for the One 3.

That's actually very good find. Looks like ducky is heading the enthusiast custom mech keyboard arena soon.

I think if these are priced well, it would be an easy to recommend board for people who want a mechanical keyboard.

They sound like a decent upgrade over One 2 - however, I'll wait to see what tech reviewers have to say on them before ordering.

Edit: Nevermind, there's actually some reviews already up lol
