  • I'm thinking of setting up a solar battery setup, and saw you have a charger and all as well.

Is it difficult to wire the whole thing so the house runs from solar, and when insufficient the batteries, and if still insufficient then grid?

How much would the whole setup cost? I don't use much electricity (been getting credit from provider since installation), but they recently cut down on the feed in tariff, so not really worth selling anymore.

    • To be completely honest, I wouldn't really recommend this battery for a residential backup system. 2.5kWh is a lot of energy for a 4WD, boat, caravan or camper van, but for a house it's generally too small.
I also think that due to the higher power demand, you should look at 48V not 12V.

If that's something that you want to do, we can certainly supply the cells and BMS, but I don't want to sell you this battery for it, as it would be a suboptimal solution and I'd be doing you a disservice in the long run.
