Boss Pocket GT FX $268 + Delivery ($0 to Eastern Metro) @ Macron Music

20

I’ve been waiting for the price of this unit to come down. Everywhere else is selling this unit for +- $300 plus. Well, still quite expensive but I pulled the trigger anyway. There is one on Reverb for $188 which with shipping cost ended up not a big delta with this . I’m not an expert in pedals, tones etc but interested on this little unit for the YouTube integration so I can jam with backing track and automatically change the effects on specific time. Lots of review out there but if you are a pro, then this unit is not for you. If you area lousy (and hoping one day you’ll be a better player) and lonely guitarist like me 😄 and like to use YouTube as your band, and been waiting for the price to come down, then probably it’s a good time to buy.

Not a bad price but hard to recommend this when you could get the Positive Grid Spark for an extra $100 which does the same thing plus so much more.

    • I like the spark, but I have to say, I'm still a little disappointed in them. I had one of the earlier units and then sent me a power supply that caused me to be shocked whenever I played the guitar. They replaced it for me but I'm still err.. "shocked" that something so awful could get out of the factory :-/

It is an overpriced mp3 player.

  • I've not seen any truly positive reviews of this piece of kit, lots and lots of negative reviews though.

Cheaply made, clunky use and way overpriced are just some of the features.
