    Can it kill Covid-19?

      20 > 19

    • +1

The active ingredients in many leading hygiene products, including Glen 20, are greater than 99.9% effective against the virus.

    • +1

They state it can but you have to make certain the surface is wet with Glen 20 and then allow surface to dry 10-20 minutes. Its unclear whether it will kill the virus in water droplets that are still airborne. I use it to spray shopping etc as immunocompromised but i think i would more likely get covid19 via breathing it in..I used glen 20 pre-covid to spray my workdesk, phone each morning which annoyed workmates but i got colds rarely.

It says yes on the can. Spray the world.

    • This may be..

      https://www.dettol.com.au/cleaning/disinfectants/dettol-anti…

As per dettol,it is "Tested effective against COVID-19 virus".

    • They changed their active ingredient. It now contains alcohol that can kill viruses too (including Covid).

    • +2

I don’t think there is any credible scientific evidence that suggests COVID is likely to be transmitted via surfaces. Via air droplets is a different story.

My local Coles was completely cleaned out when I tried to buy these yesterday

    • plenty in coles at MQ center

    • Why did they clean the Coles when you went there?

    • My local Coles is half empty

  • Also doubles as an effective underarm deodorant when you're out of your regular.

    Crisp Linen FTW

    • Yep. My favourite too.

    • Thanks for the reccomendation- will try to snag a few today in a few hours, hopefully in stock

Great price but unfortunately stock is not consistent at times due to the current situation.

Have been trying to buy a can of Glen 20 for the past two online delivery orders but haven't been successful.

  • For those who don't care about the brand https://www.aldi.com.au/en/groceries/laundry-household/house…

Disappointed. I thought before clicking through, knowing Aldi's liberal copying strategy, that it would called Jeff 21.

      • I think Jeff 21 would be more appropriate. :D

      • More like Gwen’s Sentry (Pro)

  • Great deal of you can find stock. My local is sold out

      Not in the title though.

Yeah I don't think there is enough characters to cover them all. I'd rather one post than every item posted individually

  • Got the Price Hipster alert this morning.
However, no stock at my local Coles. Thank you, Omicron.

  • Glen 20 great for neutralising farts

The profit on air freshener must be very high. There’s no way they would cost $4 to manufacture. Probably closer to 50 cents

    • +4

The contents yeah, but the packaging, printing, freight, tax, supermarkets taking their cut and a couple of CEOs with Ferrari's to fill up bumps it up.

  • How long does one 300g can last you if you use it everyday?

    • +1

This is like asking how long a piece of string is. How many times do you plan on using it in a day?

      • I plan to use it 3-4 times a day.

      • +1

        The most appropriate answer.
My upvote should cancel that revenge neg. ;-)

        • +2

          I upvoted too!

    • +1

It will last forever, go for it

      • -2

So one can will last forever? I won't need to stock up?

    • Exactly 2 times half the time it lasts.

  • +1

I ate a pile of cream cakes yesterday and could use a can of this about now.

  • +1

Just keep in mind this is only one can, not 20. Tricked my friend Tom with that one they did

  • +1

Does spraying this in my mouth work as well as injecting bleach for COVID?

    • +2

If you have COVID19 this can might solve your problem by disinfecting your breath and nostrils.

    • +2

Better try both, just to be sure.

  • Fetch the glade, Nana's let off again.

  • +1
    • came to say this

      except the other "flavours"

  • Please don't use this thinking it is effective against COVID
