Automatic Cordless Electric Floor Sweeper $9.95 + $7.75 Shipping

Just received this Subscriber Only Special deal from Catchoftheday.com.au. Just thought some of you might be interested in trying this product for this price. Not sure about how effectively it cleans etc, but I know this is the first time they have reduced the price below $10, and it is a bargain for this price.

Don't neg me if you don't like the product itself but I'm sure the price isn't bad.

  • What is the difference between this one and those several hundred one from HN?

    • I think this one does not move off by itself after a full charge, neither does it return back to its base. Perhaps has a low battery time. So I guess u put new batteries into it and place it in the middle of the room and turn it on. =) Only JUST realised it is pretty much a floor duster—doesn't vacuum.

    • I think the difference is that this does not vacuum - it looks like it just collects dust with the microfibre cloth on its underside.

You get for what you pay for. Junk will not cost you $10.00.

Deal seems to be missing something. Maybe as "as seen on TV" label, the option to pay in five easy installments of just $1.99, and a second robo sweeper absolutely free if you buy in the next five minutes.

    • Second free? wow ….

      • NONONO, only if you pay by credit card. =P

  • The main thing about this one is its made only for hard floors such as tiles and floorboards. It doesnt do carpets. Im quite sure for the price its probably got a poor battery which probably lasts no more than 30 mins before needing 4 hours of recharging. And I'd be surprised if this one has the smarts to work out a map of your home and clean accordingly. Looks like it has a rubberised protection around it so it will bump on all your items until cleaning is done or the battery dies.

    • lol..funny sh1t!

    • the website begs to differ: "Great for cleaning up after shedding pets, or simply entertaining them ;)"

    • haha!@ i bet you he cursed the day he decided not to potty train their dog… MANY times over and over as he cleaned the poop from out of every little nook and cranny! i would say "Not recommended if you have an untrained dog" but even a trained dog can have a little 'accident' sometime
ps why would you even bother cleaning the poo covered Roomba, just so this could happen AGAIN?@! the way i see it, after this either the dog goes or the Roomba, most people would say the latter

What!?.. it's around 60% cheaper than Amazon price.. I think it's worth my vote then..

      • Hahaha 1 Star review.
        Suck it robot.

"For under $10, you're sure to find a use!"

    ???

Who comes up with this shit LOL!

  • "There’s no bins to empty or filters", So it's not going to do much. but under 20 delivered.. It's worth it if it can actually just run around the house a few time to amaze the kids.. haha..

      Or entertain the dog.

    • wait, what? so it just moves dirt around?

being a long time Roomba owner (the several hundred dollar ones), I can however attest to the fascination of just standing there watching it run around. so this one could well be worth it for that alone.

    • No filter = Asthma heaven…

  • Battery operated, not rechargeable. Toy.

Be wise, save your $ !!

    • +1

You can use rechargeable AA batteries.

  • 4 AA Battery. I wonder how long could it last

  • Would be a nice toy for my cat and dog!

  • I wonder if you can hack it..

  • +3

Might be a good platform to muck around with a microcontroller.

  • No harm to get a toy chasing my cat. A motorised cat toy from pet shops can cost the same.

  • seriously, the more expensive ones have troubles working properly and you think a $10 one is going to work well?

and it runs off aa battteries? lol

Oh man I cud've gotten one of these, no batteries used =D. http://dudelol.com/baby-mop-clothing-is-it-cruel/
But then I'd have to get a baby. =(

Read this review. Looks like a useless toy that only pushes dirt around and eats battery juice fast.

    • 71 x vacuum cleaners and sweepers

    • 1 x extra large bra

  • Wait wait wait… so it just moves dust and stuff from one part of the room to another? That's pretty pointless. Sweeping is only useful when it moves dust into a dust pan so you can take it out of the house…

  • Does it have an SD card slot and usb connection?

can't expect much from such a cheap product. the 2 cloths absorb the dirt and then you wash them, probably only does half the job but still an entertaining buy

  • lol @ blitz.
Is the large bra for the swedish maid?

  • This must be trunk, what you pay is what you get.
