  • not a bad price, I prefer the Razer Viper mini at the same price point but this is not bad.

I usually buy logitech mouse but been plagued with unable to click with the scroll. Do these have same/similar issues?

    • +1

I have been using the mouse since August 2019.

My one hasn’t had the same or similar issues.

    • I personally have only one failure with my razer mice and its with the mamba tournament edition with the old sensor which failed after 2 years. On these new ones i think if they were to fail, people say its the left/right buttons failing.

    • Mines the opposite , i can click the scroll but i can't actually use the scroll wheel. (Logitech G402)

No basic troubleshooting has fixed it for me (driver update , Logitech software controller update , check and clean etc) …and nothing was spilled on it. R.I.P

    • I've had no issues and have used this and the mamba before that over the last 10 years.

  • Not bad, needed a new mouse and this pops up. Just got my local JB to price match.

Looks like the historical low for the Deathadder, nice!

  • online reviews say 4.6 stars out of 65 reviews…will try it

This or the other EVGA mouse deal?

    • Way better sensor in the EVGA one but it looks pretty goofy.

This one is probably good enough for 90% of people though

    • why not have both?!

      • left and right hand mouse setup

    • The sensor in the EVGA is better but it looks terrible.

  • Still using my abyssus from like 2010

    • god mouse

  • Is this a legit site?

  • Is this version 2?

If you mean v2, then no.
    DeathAdder v2 vs DeathAdder Essential:

The Razer DeathAdder V2 and the Razer DeathAdder Essential have the same shape and size, but the V2 performs better overall. It has a lower lift-off distance, a significantly lower click latency, a much wider CPI range, and you can adjust the CPI more precisely. Also, it has a much more flexible braided cable, better quality mouse feet, and two programmable buttons below the scroll wheel. The Essential is heavier, has no onboard memory, and only has green backlighting.

    • What is CPI?

      • CPI = Counts per inch, which is same as DPI = dots per inch.

Being able to adjust CPI means gamers can tailor their mouse movement speed and improve their aim.

Not suitable for anyone who might slam a mouse down even lightly after getting killed by a camper - microswitches poorly mounted and cause double-clicks thereafter. There are better gaming mice.

I miss the days when they made controllers tantrum-resistant. My still working SNES controllers has signs of how much abuse it copped in the days.

1990s: If you threw a controller at a wall the wall got damaged.
        2022: Controller explodes mid air.

        • fire in the hole!

        • Microsoft know a lot about that stuff, Xbox one controllers and mics just stop working for literally no reason, I've been through like 20

    • To be fair I bought this mouse years ago when it was new, still have the same one doing fine. it's been thrown countless times against the wall when I used to get angry at games lol. Ive replacement so many pads on the bottom. Personally I absolutely love the mouse, ergonomics are perfect for me and it's proven to be durable i couldn't recommend it more, but everyone's experience is different, just my 2 cents.

I've been using this mouse for 2 years, everything is fine except for the bulky software (razer synapse) required to program your buttons. I swear it updates weekly and is bloated

  • Good deal if they are legit. I bought a DA Essential off amazon for a similar price a year ago, but it was fake.

    • How can you tell it was fake?

Just got mine for 24 at jbhifi Waurn Ponds. Though the salesmen tried to pull off the whole gimmick of not able to price match, price too low, this shop must be out of their mind and no free shipping. But he was no match for my ozbargain preparedness.

  • Are the grips on the "Essential" rubber or plastic?

  • Thank you although in the end decided to get the v2 mini version from there for $42.

  • How does it compare to the V2 pro wireless on discount for $99?

    • +2

Optimum Tech does some great comparisons of wireless gaming mice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wagmJMypQ1U

      • Thanks! Just curious as developing mouse addiction over deals.

Bought this wired one to see how I go with size. Arrived already, so quick.

  • Mouse is okay, not the best for gaming

  • If you guys buy this, remember to register for warranty. A lot of fake DA's back in the day, just Google

    • Ah just saw this, register for warranty will tell me straight away if it's real or fake? Or just give me warranty if it breaks? It feels and looks nice so far.
