Samsung 4TB 870 QVO 2.5" SATA SSD (MZ-77Q4T0BW) $383.20 ($373.62 eBay Plus) Delivered @ futu_online eBay

The one deal I've found so far in today's eBay sale is for the 4TB 870 QVO SSD which is slightly cheaper than the previous deals of $386 from Computer_Alliance.

As per before, 870 QVO is a QLC drive which may not be suitable for all applications/uses but given it's the 4TB model, it does perform better than some of the reviews/Youtube videos online which focus on the 1TB's performance and smaller write cache (vs the larger models).

Unfortunately no Far Cry 6 promo though (which was worth about $30).

Original price on eBay - $479
Less 20% = $383.20
Or Less 22% = $373.62

Original Coupon Deal

EDIT (17/01/2022 7pm) Unfortunately looks like Jack visited and the price increased to $529. Even at 22% off, it's still $412.62 which is not such a great deal anymore.

Still holding out for better deals like the 860 Evo from last year.

Wonder if it will happen with COVID shortages.

The QVO is cheap but from all accounts it seems like the EVO is the better drive if you can afford to stretch your budget.

thats yet to come most likely this is last years stock

      • Fingers crossed mate.

  • Oh Ebay are having a sale? Does anyone know if there's any Ryzen 5900x at a good price?

    • +3

None, all have had their prices jacked up $200+

      • Yeah I noticed that. Suppose I could hold out til zen4

Other option is the upcoming 5800X3D. If it's as fast as AMD says it is it'll be better for gaming than a 5900X and should be out in April. If it's priced around $500 and lives up to the hype I'll be grabbing one, it'll save me having to buy a new board and RAM. Plus I imagine zen4 will have limited supply for the first 6 months again.

Or I could do the sensible thing and keep using the 3700x that works perfectly fine. But where's the fun in that?

    • Got one for $644 black friday with ebay plus :D

      • Damn mine was $679 in October. I got ripped off lol

    • Sadly, you missed a good deal 2 weeks ago. They were on eBay for around $630.

  • Showing up as $529 for me instead of $479. Anyone else getting the higher price?

Just saw it. Looks like Uncle Jack came to visit after I posted this on OzBargain. :(

      Time to expire it :(

Interestingly this is very visible as well when you click on price history and can see that it was listed at $429 as recently as 12/01/2022, and then sold for $479 sometime today (17/01/2022), before it is now $529.
