Next iPhone needs to come without a SIM slot.

      • +7

I actually prefer to have an SIM slot on the phone, so can quickly switch to another phone if you need to. For situations if the phone isn't working or broken. You can't call the provider to switch eSIM to another phone if the phone isn't working.

This is true. We cannot just use the same QR code for another phone, have to request a new code.

          • @kampret: Request it on their website and then scan on another phone?

        • +2

I'm sure you prefer to have an SD card too.

    • They still don't even have VoLTE. Only one is Boost.

Received an email with eSIM QR code. When activating it on my S21, I got this error message "No plans found - An incorrect code has been entered. Try again"

    • +2

I followed the steps from the email for porting to iPhone.

      1. Provision the Service (port in OR new Number) I did port in.
      2. Wait for Service Activation Email
      3. Load the eSim and put the Activation Code.
  • Is lebara on Optus or Vodafone?

  • What's the minimum ongoing cost? $15 for 8gb?

    • Looks like it. Extra Small 30 Day Plan seems cheapest ongoing monthly option or you can chose long term plans (180 or 365 days). Wish they had pay as you go plan so I could just keep this esim as backup for a while without paying too much.

      • Cheers, that's what I found in their pdf
The Extra Small 5 enables you to use the service for 5 days.
Recharges of Extra Small 5 plan are not available. Upon expiry of the 5 day plan, you may continue to use Lebara services by
purchasing a 30 day plan, or a long-term plan from Lebara.

    • No

        No

No you don't know or no it doesn't impact batterylife?

        • +1

it doesn't impact very much. I've been using two cards on my phone for months now, haven't noticed any significant drops. from before

  • I’m having issues getting past the credit card stage. Says it can’t verify me repeatedly.
