    Agreed. I love my SGT as a tablet but as an e-reader it's pretty hard on the eyes (just like any LCD).

    IMHO, if you want an e-reader go for something that uses e-ink, your eyes will thank you for it! $30 more gets you a Kindle KB refurb! :)

        I was just going to say the same thing. If they aren't E Ink they aren't ereaders, just a pain in the eye.

      It seems to me that these colour eBooks are catered for people who like to read eMagazines on-the-go. They tend to be much lighter and offer longer battery life when compared to cheap tablets.

    point taken but what tablet is $70? i do agree ur better off getting an e-reader than this but i don't agree with comparing this to a tablet… not a useful tablet anyway they are over 4x the price.
