Greetings everyone, LG Direct are currently offering a $50 coupon with a signup on their site, and this doesn't seem to have a minimum spend (although it's written as $350 on site).

Most products are generally RRP or too expensive to really take advantage of, but this remote which is good for any LG Smart TV is really cheap.

Note: Stock is dependent on local stock levels, so some states may sell out faster than others. I have checked all local postcodes in every state and it seems as though all states are marked as having stock.

      I think you are correct, this remote is MR20 and is not compatible with C1 or 2021 models according to this doc. I couldn't find anything from LG though.

    Managed to get one in SA by using a VIC postcode (like 3520) which let me add it to cart. Then using the afterpay method above, it let me place an order with my actual address.

    They might just cancel it, but worth a shot

    Just fyi, if your tv is still under warranty, just call up and tell them the buttons have worn out. Will send you a new one free. I’ve done this twice.

        My C8 buttons work ok, but the text started rubbing off of some of them. This happened really early on too, I'd hardly used it.

        Not sure this will even work with the C8, but it looks the same

    Argh, was trying to pay for ages using CC, switched to afterpay, now it's saying out of stock. I actually need a new remote too, I guess too many people bought when they didn't even need it.

    Might try the LG route then,

    It still says there's stock available when I put in my postcode. Maybe they've blocked sales after they saw a mass influx of discounted orders. It's not letting me add it to the cart anymore

    Let's see if they actually honour any of these. I removed it from cart because it was saying out of stock when I tried to check out with afterpay and now it won't let me add it, even though it says they have stock for my postcode.

    Damn, now it's saying out of stock.

    Well that was a waste of 15 minutes. I could have really done with a new remote, the text has rubbed off a few of the buttons on mine

      Yeah it got ozbargained. Annoyingly it was in stock when I saw this, then I wasted too much time trying to pay with CC, afterpay seemed to work, but by the time I tried that it was out of stock. I have a feeling they may try to cancel all of these orders, I'm not sure that they'll get away with it though.

            @TEER3X: They're not simple IR remotes either. The only button that sends an IR signal is the power button. Worth buying one as a backup.

            The labels rub off worse than Logitech keyboards.
