    They do look nice and I assume would be a nice gift. Can't say I like the fact that you have to adjust the grind from the bottom. Minor issue I guess but I would find it really annoying. Do the kind of people who use these defer that duty to their butler?

    Salt doesn't need a grinder, get a box of kosher salt for $10 and a small salt pig/dish for $10-$20

      I'm curious as to other responses to this.
      My daughter doesn't use a salt grinder, and I've over-applied salt every time I've tried to sprinkle by hand or spoon ,and her cooking is also too salty. I'm telling her she absolutely needs a grinder, and you're the first to tell me I'm wrong.
      I'm happy to be educated.
