Byte Impression Kit - $65 off

MegaByte version for people with big mouths…

    • +7

In that case, I want the terabyte version for my wife

How about the dainty people who only need a nybble?

  • 'Starting from' Over $50 a fortnight?!

    • It’s about half the price of Invisalign. But Invisalign is done in person and has much more control over what they can do with your teeth (independent spacers, bands, etc) that’s just not possible with an at-home alignment kit like this.

      • invisalign is now manged via a mobile app after the initial consultation but the price is still the same…

  • Also to note referral amounts have dropped. It’s now $100 off rather than $200z

  • Next minute, you spent 2-4K out of pocket because they lied about being able to be claimed by insurance

    • +1

Check with your insurance company first.

      • I did, they also gave me the wrong impression.

  • Scam

  • I'm coming to the end of my Byte treatment. My teeth were not that bad to start, I just wanted to have a more confident smile and thought Byte was worth the price.
I am paying off $2650 over 2 years which I think is a good price as my teeth are visibly more straight.
I did have an annoying issue though when I came to week 15 of my personalized treatment where they were a 6 weeks late to deliver my last 4 packs of aligners.
I had to call them many times in the those weeks and I didn't receive any compensation or reimbursement for their stuff up.
Went from a 5/5 to 2.5/5 star review for that stuff up.

    • Byte was hacked and a lot of customer data was destroyed and had to be re-built/processed. There's thousands of people with a similar experience to yours. I hope those starting now don't suffer the same issue.

    • Did you get the Hyperbyte with it or is it just a gimmick?

      • +1

Yeah I got the Hyperbyte thing; I'm no dentist but it makes sense to me that the vibrations would help to loosen up the gums while the teeth are being aligned so I wouldn't call them a gimmick.

  • I just went to a Smile Direct studio the other day. I guess they are Byte's competitor in this space. I saw that Invisalign bought a 17% stake in smile direct and it is iInvisalign that make the aligners. They have the same business as Byte - however the 'smile studio' they use the same machine as the Orthodontist to 3D scan your teeth and jaw. Looks like this space is growing . I am off to the Orthodontist today to get their quote (probably $9K) compered to Byte or Smile Direct who are about $2800

    • If your teeth are all (profanity) up, I probably wouldn't use clear aligners. I'd see an orthodontist.

      • Yep agree - the direct to consumers is really about mild to slightly moderate cosmetic straightening. They focus on the top and bottom 6 teeth

The Ortho quote did come back at $9k or 8.5K if i pay in full - that would include a tooth extraction, flattening the edges of my teeth so that are in a straight line and the Invisalign treatment for probably 15months.

        • If they flatten the edges of your teeth, does that correct your bite?

I wonder what sort of mileage we get out of our teeth, I kinda feel like getting ceramics might be more economical/lower maintenance at a certain point.
