      Yes but you will need to chat with Boost support to do that, you can't simply activate a SIM Card kit. Ask them to transfer your number over to the new SIM kit.

      i asked chat the same question yesterday and they suggested i purchase the sim deal (as its cheaper) then when i recieve the new sim in the post to contact chat again and they will activate it and transfer my original phone number onto the new sim. sounds easy and I hope this works when i recieve my new sim. Chat also placed a free temp recharge on my phone (28 days plus 5gb) whilst i wait for the sim in the mail.

    Hey, pretty close to pulling the triggered after looking at this type of deal maybe… 20+ times in the past.

    Considering I'm paying $65 a month for 180gb data but I use wifi at home so it isn't a big issue.

    Someone get me across the line and tell me its easy to port my Telstra number and I can get on a similar deal again after 12 months.

      I've been loving these 12-month plans that end up being so cheap… like $15 a month for full Telstra network with plenty of data (like you, I use wifi) I'm with Telstra but just about to swap over to Boost this month, trying to get one of the $200 cards on special before they go out of stock!

      In the past, I was able to use VoWifi internationally to make regular calls under my inclusions i.e. back to Australia and at my roaming destinations (turn on airplane mode, turn on Wifi).

      SMS didn't work (even with airplane mode off) but that was before RCS messaging was enabled.

      Yes, you can port your number to another network and then port it to the new sim you will buy. You will have to contact boost customer service to do that.

    Managed to get the $300 Telstra price matched at Officeworks. Worked out to be $215.60.
    Before anybody asks why not Boost - well all of my family and friends overseas are reachable on WhatsApp so I don't need intl mins, however I'm looking forward to using free WiFi calling/SMS when overseas which is still not available on Boost. Esim was important too.

      The expiry date of the $200 boost sim is 31-08-2023 and the expiry of $300 boost sim is 5-05-2023.
      You have to activate the sim before the expiry date.
