    Guys I need help.

    I have Optus 500Gb plan and if I try to get S22 with optus they will give Galaxy watch 4 as gift plus can get Samsung gift itself.

    If I go with edu I can get S22, a case and using the code I can get Samsung care and apparently the price is about 600$ lowers than Optus but without the watch 4 and Samsung gift.

    So what do you think? Which one should I go with?

    This S22 doesn't come with charger so apparently I need to buy a charger possibly 65W too.
    I don't have another device to do the trade it 😟

      It still can be charged with your older USB-C charger, and you can buy the charger separately.

    I didn't add the accessories in original s22 ultra order any way to fix this? I assumed there would be some sort of voucher code once purchased.

      Sadly no way to fix it. You will need to contact their support, and get the order cancelled, then re-order. If you used trade in also, you will need to email the trade-in guys (there was a email address posted it a few pages back), let them know the order is cancelled and then also cancel the trade in code.

      I was one of the early ones who ordered where the code couldn't stack, so had to go through it all to get it cancelled then re-ordered.

    Damn…I cancelled the purchase right at the end screen. as I wanted to check the trade in with the normal store. Now it says my trade up is used. Anyone know if the code reenables after a certain time if no purchase is made?

      After you cancel the order, you can clear the cache of samsung trade-up app on your phone, then you will be able to create a new trade in number.

        If you have gone right to the end to the purchase and cancelled last minute Asurion think you have purchased the phone and cross off your IMEI from further uses. I generated 4 more codes with Samsung chat and I wiped cache and reinstalled and even chat kept checking my codes and couldn't work out why was returning an error. Surprisingly Asurion replied me and said they had to manually wipe the codes and validate my IMEI again so I could get a proper working code and to wait 2 to 3 days.they said that's what happens if you cancel purchase right at the end

    Yesterday I placed the pre-order for S22 Ultra and traded in my existing device to get the trade in bonus. I forgot to add the BONUSCARE code to get the free 2 years Samsung Care+. I contacted Samsung and was told it can't be added once the order is placed. Only option is to cancel existing order and place a new order. Does anyone now what will happen to the trade-in charge that has been placed on my credit card? Will it be removed once my order is cancelled? I contacted Samsung to ask this, but they said send an email to Asurion to check, which I already did and waiting for their reply. Does anyone know or cancelled their orders in past that included trade-in?
    A bit reluctant to cancel the order given my past bad experience with Samsung in getting the refund. But don't want to lose the Care+ offer. Any help OZBs.

    It is the same old issues this launch with the Trade In app. I am trying to trade in a old iPhone 7 and it keep getting to the very last screen where it takes the payment and then crashes, does anyone have any pointers to get it to actually proceed?

        I think with this situation I will go with Optus offer. (I don't have the phone to trade, so no phone trading discount for me and that $200 discount is worthless now. only thing is the 20% discount and Samsung care). I am super confused about what is the best option for me. :(
        Optus will give Galaxy watch 4 and also can get the gift package of Samsung.

        Still not a bad deal though. Because you can grab a Galaxy Buds 2 (which is similar deal to their "gift package" when buying full price).
        Also you can stack in trade in bonus + EDU discount + accessories (e.g. get a Galaxy Buds 2), which still makes it a good deal.

    I kinda get why they're no longer including power adaptors with new phones. Are those newer 65w power adaptors the recommended ones to use with the Samsung s22 ultra? I was planning on using my existing ones and currently understand that they probably won't charge as quickly as the 65w ones as an example. Would this be the main difference? My existing power adaptor is from my Samsung s10+… So yeah, a bit of an upgrade for me.

      There the original expensive by name the Samsung 65 watt adapters, for even use with my Note 10 Plus that only supports 45 Watt Super Fast Charging, though if you look hard or sales, say Amazon can be had for below $80 or was that the 45 watt version for my Note 10 Plus, but the PD Super Fast Charging is Samsung proprietary and only certain non Samsung ones are available cheaper

    FYI for 28 Degrees Price Protection users:

    I've placed an order online last night and the tax invoice shows the final price of the phone only, after subtracting the trade in $$$ and even the BONUSCARE stuff.

    Basically what you see in your cart during checkout will be what's printed on the receipt.

    Gonna be tricky for us to demonstrate to 28 Degrees that the actual price of the phone is the RRP less 20%. The rest are technically "discounts" paid for by trading in our phone, etc.

    My trade in value was $10 more with JB Hi-Fi for the S20 4G. So with all said and done, it looks like the comparison between JB and EDU is for the S22 128GB is:
    JB: $1249 - $280 (trade-in) - $450 (trade in bonus) = $519.
    EDU store: $999.20 - $270 (trade-in) - $150 (trade in bonus) = $579.20

    JB also has the gifts too.

    Did I miss anything with the deals to maximise the current promotions?

    Does anyone know when Samsung will start shipping these pre-orders? I know its mentioned in order details that "Ships From: 03 Mar 2022", but normally they start sending pre-orders well before that.

      Well no one would really know, but if you go by past pre-orders they usually start shipping about 5 days before. So you should have the phone two to three days before release date. But considering they are releasing next week in the usa and some people over at xda are claiming that their phones have shipped already, I'm hoping it might be a little earlier. But that's the geek in me being optimistic.
