          • @leyton01: IMEI number doesn’t change even if you root. So that can’t be the reason. Must be an overseas device.

            • @usmanhafeez2000: I wonder if their app checks for "Knox" blown fuses etc. Which could be why a rooted phone could be disqualified.
              I got the same issue on my Note 8 which was rooted with Knox tripped.

    Got this with trade in for my s21 ultra $650, plus the 450 bonus, plus 100 loyalty, plus the bonus gift for $799.

    • hard to say if that is a bargain or not. Because what i did was trade in a iphone 7 ($5) + the trade-in bonus. Then sold off my S21+ for $800 a few weeks ago. lol.
      So if we were to compare it, I got the new Samsung S22+ 256GB for:

      Trade in: $5 + $200

        • Standard black, I think some ppl have the 512 listed as 3rd March others like me have 10th March for delivery… On the website 256 is 3rd, 512 is 10th and 1tb is 17 Mar now so maybe they are batching the various sizes?

    Anyone received an email for the special colours?

    • I did but I'm from the future

    • None yet. Ordered mine on 12th Feb. Still in processing but I suspect the special colours will take longer anyway since they did state it in their website.

    • From my last special colour order, it'll take 3-4 weeks for them to get it ready and ship it out. So we should be expecting it mid to end of month.

      Did you receive any of the additional items you pre-ordered? Case or charger etc

          It should be 3-4 weeks from receiving the email (the one saying we are preparing it, wait 6 weeks).

          But, from another comment posted, it seems the phones are released by storage capacity, with 512GB expected next week, and 1TB the week after.

          Even JB has trouble securing stock, so I believe we (special colour orderee) will only get it next month.

  • What is the ETA? Available 03 March, but when realistically they going to be delivered?

    • Many people have been receiving early deliveries from last week.
      Some people including myself are still waiting for our orders to be shipped, but patiently because it's not yet March 3rd.
      The colour/storage variant might be the reason of this shipping difference.

      And samsung uses Startack, so delivery is almost always next day of the dispatch. ETA should be March 4th, in most cases.

    Is it when the preorder purchase is made or when the preordered phone is delivered?

    • When Samsung marks it as delivered. My phone will be delivered today but they marked it as delivered on Friday and I received the postage label on Friday as well.

  • Anybody got a email saying "Your goods are on the way!".
    But shows no tracking number, and when you go to the EDU order page and try "Track Item" it just keeps on spinning and shows no details?

    • i have the same issue. you have 2 options. you can contact their live chat and get the startrack tracking number. or you can wait until startrack picks up the items after which you will get tracking link by sms.

        Found a way to get the tracking number when you get the "Spinning and no details" via the order page. Saves you from contacting their live chat and waiting ages.

        Using Chrome or new Edge:
        1. Go to your EDU order page where you can see what you ordered
        2. Right click anywhere on the page and go to "Inspect"
        3. Then click the "Track Order" button
        4. You will see on the right hand panel there is a "POST" 500 error, which shows the link it is attempting to get which fails, the link looks like this: https:// shop.samsung.com/ au/multistore/auepp/ samsung_education_au/my-account/order/ order/tracking/123093728
        5. The startrack tracking number is the last digits of that website, in the example above the startrack tracking number is 123093728
        6. This tracking number when used on the startrack official website will work and you can even see the real consignment number.

      Yennora, however the goods on the way email, is actually quite misleading. Because they send that email out when they "create" the postage label. You will get a SMS from Startrack when they pick it up though.

      It could be sitting in their warehouse awaiting pickup.
