                @Lolitsjoel: But Velco is very difficult to line up neatly and often comes loose, cable spiral wrap is also a solution for allowing cables of different lengths.

                  @bjt: Cable spiral also requires it to be unwound from the entire cable if one end is unable to fit through the diameter

              @bjt: Depends what you find 'better'.

              Zipper is easy to wrap cords… but velcro has more versatility for a few reasons:

              1. Hard to explain without showing, but if you want one of the cords to exit the sleeve not at the end, you can easily remove it and the velcro will wrap around it. Sorry, terrible explanation, but hard to describe.
              2. It's cuttable to suit whatever length you want, zipper is not.
              3. This sleeve is reversible to black / white.

        so each piece of plastic/paper label tag is being valued at a couple dollars each

        Then subsequent added zipper and 12 tags vs 6 tags on the individual 8-pack triple the relative value compared to the single long sleeve

      The one you have linked is designed to cover cords on a carpet, not act as a sleeve.
