    Hi Zane, I agree in the past this price was closer to normalcy but with the ongoing price hikes associated with cPanel and supporting licenses required to operate a hosting server, industry prices are definitely on the rise.

  Biggest catch is its 50% off your first bill only. You can choose your billing period, 1 month - 36 months, but you gotta drop all that cash upfront on a new company and a service you may not need in the future.

  As a reseller you are probably better to roll your own.

    For those who have used WHMCS with tens of thousands of clients, it does not scale well. By having everything completely custom, we're scaled across multiple availability zones in Sydney with active/active load balancing, read replicas, and can shard database data when the time comes.

    We can build whatever feature we want in our system and are not limited by modules or WHMCS limitations (not to mention the ton of billing quirks that WHMCS has).

    We've got some cool stuff coming out in the next couple of months that only would be possible by having this kind of setup.
